The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

Yesterday 100 338 win neck sized and primed. Was shooting 185 gr Barnes but I'm going to see what happens with some 210's and 225's.
Neck sized and primed 150 257 wby.
Wishing I could find some 25-06 brass lol

Had some degree of success with 58/62 RB and three 000 buckshot at 12 yards. Using full and extra full choke in a 10 gauge BP shotgun.

The 10 gauge shotgun with Imp-Mod/Skeet 2 was absolutely dismal at 12 and 25 yards. Just about the same results with full/xtra full at this same distance.

However to get some better/tighter pattern at 12 yards, I had to squeeze card board shim around the larger RB and crazy glue the smaller buckshot to the base of the RB.

Hardly inspiring and this ridiculous amount of hand loading work for marginal results.

I'm thinking I would be better off with 00 buckshot & buffering material. Less work for better patterns at 20-25 yards.

just info

Finally got my 243 back together so I decided to finish off my old 70gr BT's to get rid of them and break in the new barrel.

The 11 once fired were loaded with 225 gr Barnes Xs, 69 gr of AA 4350 Over CCI LRM primers. 25 of the Win brass were loaded with 225 gr Hornady SSTs, 69 gr of AA 4350 over CCI primers and the other 25 with 200 gr Hornady interlocks, 71 gr of AA4350 over the CCI primers. I also have 20 rounds of 225 gr Federal fusions and 20 rounds of Federal premium loaded with Bear Claws. Looking forward to seeing what shoots best in my antique (1964) LH custom Savage.
