Bill S-223

Doesnt matter what the conservatives says in the voting they are outnumbered. and dont count on the liberals to vote against theyre own bill. They get outted from they're own party if they vote against they leader welcome to the flaw in Canadien Politics you dont get real representation its totally utter trash in my opinion

I don’t quite understand what you’re talking about.
So far, the Conservatives have an overwhelming majority in the Senate i.e. 42 seats against 24 for the Libs. There are also 21 Independents. The S-223 is the Senate bill, not the Parliament Bill where the Conservatives have a minority.
The S-223 must die in the Senate.

they won't get kicked on the unimportant votes. A liberal MP recently voted against the Air Canada bill, no repercussions. most likely a ploy to show' hey we have dissenters and we're fine with it.' I'm sure their fine with it as long as it still passes and isn't a big important bill.

As I mentioned above the S-223 has nothing to do with voting in the Parliament. The MP's cannot vote on a Senate S-223 bill. Only Senators vote in the Senate and until now, the Conservatives have a huge majority in the Senate.

99% of Canadians don't know how it all works
EVERYONE knows Celebrities like Kim Kardashian and JUSTIN TRUDEAU
SICK SOCIETY they have made it into

The dumbing down is by design of course

Yes, I think it's the old two step. Introduce a totally heinous bill and then slide another more "moderate" bill in and say "See, aren't we reasonable? How can you object to this? Typical Liberal maneuver.

No. Now is the time to spread the word to your shooting friends AND your non shooting friends. All this bill is is a blatant attack and a big F U to firearms owners across the country. This bill concerns us all. It's not a black rifle vs wood rifle thing.

Join some orgs, donate.

Or you can sell your stuff and give up.

So is this the time to be selling off my restricted + centerfire rifles?

I have been quite surprised with the lack of knowledge the shooters let alone some of the staff at our local shops have towards bill S-223. This bill has had me on edge of my seat for quite some time now. I have taken note from what other members here have exampled as emails to the MP'S and have intentions of email and possible physical mail if I can find the time this week.

I understand this is not just specified to only specific rifles and handguns.

I will continue to share my knowledge with those unaware. Also express my feelings to Local and nation wide Senators + MP'S.

Have they already won in your eyes? No, time is to buy more of those items and spread the word, fight back and get all your friends and family involved in the sport.

OK so we got a fight of our lives to keep our sport and everyone must write and support our gun organization(s).

The livelihood of every single firearm's business would be so seriously impacted to a point where they would cease to exist so they need to organize as an entity and be clearly heard, a great deal of revenue, lost taxes and jobs are on the line.

This is a mad and utterly foolish bill perpetrated by a misguided former senator who is now enjoying tax-payer funded retirement.

How would that work? To buy back all the semi automatic rifles in Canada would cost billions of dollars? Or would you be forced to turn them in with no compensation?
