I've always loved the AK platform and have always resented that my American family can own them and I can't. I absolutely despise the AR 15 and similar Nato offerings. Commie style all the way. If you can answer these I'll place an order. I acknowledge this will be the closest thing to a AK I'll ever own *sad face. Who knows, maybe in time the T81 will be a proven Canadian gem that will make our southern neighbours jealous of us, for once *fingers crossed.

Such as a Beretta M9?

Also rooting for the success of another solid and exciting platform. Choices are good, and it's a fun and inexpensive caliber to shoot.

Our pinned mags likely keep too many Yanks feeling envious about much of our firearms situation.

Not all states are free. Some have mag capacity laws worse than ours.

8 states out of 50, to be exact.

These states are still operating under the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Banning “large capacity” magazines, which it defined as those capable of holding more than 10 rounds.

Yet that is still less restrictive than our magazine capacity regulations. Not saying that our neighbors don't have their share of political nonsense to deal with as well, but they are not envious of our pinned BS.

Less restrictive in some ways, more restrictive in others. Depends on the type. Would never say anyone would be jealous of the restriction, just not free in a different way.

Nazi Luger/Walther P38/Beretta 92. Fascist pistols and commie rifles for me. 9mm pre-dates Nato as it was developed in the German empire. I know dude, the 5 round limit is a major buzz kill. At least we get good at mag changes right?

"2. The wood stock should be removable if it follows the AK pattern. The folding stock wouldn't be since the stock is connected to the rear trunnion. That's what is riveted in. The side panels do come off. I'm sure the 3D printer guys can make something, but what? The stock won't stay folded if you change the width.
3. Unless they changed something these will come off with a flat tip screwdriver. It screws into a small wedge inside the receiver."

Can you confirm this TI? If that's the case I'll definitely get a fixed stock.

I actually want an under-folder.

TI - is this something you can bring in the future?

I've been looking already for parts like this for sale in China and haven't found a single thing anywhere.....the bi pod.....carry handle......drum mag......nothing for sale it's strange with the glut of these firearms out there over seas......is there like some kinda trade law and export law in place for these parts that they cannot sell them privately?

The bipod and carry handle are part of the lmg and are integrated into the design. The version pictured is the LMG and not the rifle version. That barrel is also longer than the rifle version and has a different front sight. The wood furniture is also different. The receiver is the same.

Okay I have the answer. The two rivets connect the stocks. Each stock slides into the folded receiver and are then riveted. So, theoretically both can be removed and some other stock added.

Are all the pics we are seeing an 18.5 barrel? I like how far the gas tube comes up in these pics compared to how odd the vz's look with an 18.5. Or are we going to have a couple extra inches compared to these pics?

Production rifles will be identical looking to military ones, just with an additional .75" add to the barrel

FRT sample is the restricted, original length. If it is pics of the military or TI versions... add .75 of an inch. 3/4 of an inch.
