I saw that pic before. I could be mistaken but they might be 'forest brother' resistance weapons. The pistol grip on the top one looks like cast lead or zinc(?).

From what I could gather, they are from Thailand.

The purpose of the wound ballistics study1 conducted on Bougainville was to obtain information on the relative effectiveness of different weapons as casualty-producing agents. To obtain this information, a study was made of all battle casualties (living and dead) which had occurred in the U.S. Army Ground Forces on Bougainville Island from 15 February to 21 April 1944.

Note how the A6's have cleaner smoke trails than the other aircraft in the picture S-3's are very clean too. Nice feature for an aircraft sneaking into the enemy's airspace.

I believe this is the Danger Tree replica at Beaumont-Hamel, WW1. Where the Royal Newfoundland Regiment made their great sacrifice.
