Looks good. I got the HS3 stock for my Savage 111 and had to Dremel the recoil lug hole in stock to get it to fit. It was way off. I complained and MDT made it right with some extra add ons for free. The 111 shoots a wee bit better with new stock on.
 
Pardone the crappy pics. 13lbs 4 oz as seen with bipod, but I am waiting on a mdt rail to instal my new sierra 7 bipod!

I just tested three , five rnd groups, using 150 g Nosler Ballistic tips. Varget powder. All data taken off Nosler webpage. From low to high it was .715 .820 . 920 Got some Hornady SST to try on Sunday.
 
My serial is J319731 Kinda close to some of the bad batch . I was worried last evening reading thread as I bought mine off EE last May unfired and did not have time to try it out . Was relieved today when I tried a group @100yrd . Just some PMC 150gr , Will try some home loads in near future.

Tell me about it. I've kept the forum page open on a browser window for the past couple of days promising myself I'd check the serial number on mine when I get home from my night shift. Always forget when I do get home in the morning.

I guess I won't know until I put a scope on it and fire a few rounds.

What is the bad batch? I just bought one of these on EE...someone please lol
 
I had mine out for the second time today, this time I had some 150 Hornady SST , and Berger 168 target .
The Hornady were all crap. The Berger was Alright. I shot two groups under an inch. .835 and.975.
So far The Nosler 150 ballistic tips are the best. .720,.820,.915.
I'm guessing I got a good barrel :)

Powder was Varget.

Try some Hornady super performance 168 A-max match ammo.

Mine LOVES it! Best 5 shot group at 100y to date was .098", no joke! Average 5 shot groups are .750". Always under an inch if I do my part.

Takes the 168 A-max super sonic past 1000y. I made my first hits at 1000y (ever) with this combo.
