When you read all the posts a couple things are common, out of stock, poor customer service, and they did not modernize to the computer age. Result, out of business... period. I am surprised no one else has mentioned there first little store in Toronto which was right downtown east of Young Street, perhaps on Spadina . A small cramped hovel of a place with stuff hanging from the ceiling. I distinctly remember they where not overly friendly then either, but there prices were good. Bought my first pair of Greb Kodiak boots there and a Silva Ranger compass about 1969-70.
