APC223 Non restricted whos getting one ?

Here's a couple pics I found on the net. It has the short handguard but it gives you a good idea of how a 1-4x scope would look. I'm not really a big fan of 1-4x scopes but this is a pretty slick looking set up. I prefer a red dot and magnifier or elcan specter. Both are kinda high for this rifle but I'd probably try my elcan too. The more I read these threads and research this rifle online the more I want one.

John,

Are these what the restricted version will be like (minus the suppressor of course)???

Hi Mr Wolverine, on the full length sample, where is the pivot point of the rifle?
Just in front of the mag well? Or much more forward?

Thanks.

If its anything like my ACR its gonna suck . All the weight is forward.

The only 18.5 gun I like to shoot is the Tavor the balance is perrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect.

As for balance point I will have to answer this next week when I am back in the office and can hold her. As others have said when we have to manufacture to meet legal requirements the result is often a compromise .

I am no stranger to heavy barrel, my 20" match barrel AR with steel float tube Service Rifle rig was so front heavy that I put lead in the stock, the pivot point then was just one hand width in front on the mag well, I ran with it all day shooting from standing fine.
As long as it balances on my support palm standing, that's all I was wondering. I don't need it to be balanced anywhere near the pistol grip, its a NR length rifle not a CQB rig, that job can be left to a bullpup or pencil barrel guns.

But don't sweat it, I can wait till I have it to play around :)

Holy chit, the price of the NR ACR is insane...lol... Did bushmaster make it with unicorn tears ?

Im Glad that the ACP was only a few hundred more, Might just keep my ACR as an investment now...lol...

Well IRG.com is importing restricteds, But we all know How I feel about paperweights, So im guessing another dealer will import the NR ones.

I wonder if the FRT table shows who submitted it ?

I'm a little confused, the only entry in the FRT is for non-restricted but the ones they are importing to Canada are restricted?
