The reality: A lot of people paid in advance for an awesome firearm, but the delays and not enough updates for some is frustrating as hell. Some are patient and are just waiting it out. Some are impatient, but still are waiting it out. Some are impatient or are for their own personal reasons in need of the money and are getting refunds, without issue by the retailer. Everyone is making their own choices based on their own unique personalities and situations. What is right for some obviously isn't the way to go for others, but we all have the right to make our own personal decisions. Slamming each other for making those choices is pretty sad. There shouldn't be any issues with each other here, to each his own, yeah?

This 100x. Imo I have already paid so the moneys gone. Worst case scenario is x amount of months down the road I get $1200 back. Its a win win
 
Took me a long time to make up my mind if I wanted one of these or not. Just pulled the trigger since I sold my SKS and have a #### load of 762x39 ammo stock piled still. Went for the folder and an extra mag, 4 mags the gun and a sling for just over 1100, pretty nice considering new 858's are over 1300 now... Cant wait for it to show up!
 
Not sure you guys noticed but Trump won the election, chances are he lifts the restrictions on importing foreign firearms and suddenly Norinco doesn't care about the Canadian market at all.
They may make these for the Americans if there is a demand but they certainly aren't going to make them for us now.
If they do make them for the states they may send this order to TI but that would be years away.

Not sure if you know this but the United States aren't a fast food chain that can just change their menu whenever they want. There's a thing called "Congress" in the U.S.A that has to approve stuff like that. Even Donald can't just snap his fingers to erase the ban on Chinese firearms....that may take a few pieces of paper and a long time.

You mean the republican congress, or the republican senate? The NRA who were instrumental in getting all three elected are already communicating with congress and their wish list.

You guys get mad when someone tells you the truth because it hurts so bad.
Tactical Imports can correct me if I'm wrong but these rifles are no closer to being produced then they were before they were ordered.

Call me names and flame me all you want it isn't going to get you this rifle any sooner.

You do realize Bush Jr was in the white house for 8 years too? He couldve lifted that too, but he didn't. And besides, lifiting those restrictions would take a long time, if not years. We should have are 81s long before then.
 
I did 6 months financing to do the pre-order just want to get it in this fall. Right now it was delayed to next year. If I know this before I placed pre-order, I will wait to Jan then I can pay it without financing. Now I paid admin fee and interest for nothing.

Actually the bans was by executive orders by both Democrat and Republican presidents so trump could easily reverse it just by the stroke of his pen.

Having said that, I wouldn't worry about the Chinese abandoning old customers when they found a big new customer cos they are business minded and they know not to put all their eggs in one basket especially when the basket is unstable.

Like someone said already, even if trump allowed import of firearms, he may not allow assault rifles.

8 months, TI really jumped the gun by announcing and accepting preorders without knowing when they would even go into production. Its almost time to get a refund and put my money somewhere else.
