does anyone know if this fits on the xcr barrel? In terms of the threads.
Just to let everyone know: If you have a competition style xcr you can't use other barrels/ conversion kits. I recently bought a 7.62x39 off a nice fellow cgner with the dream to shoot it out of my .223 competition length model. The gas block won't fit!
I even had a nice case coming in the mail, arriving tomorrow, to store whatever barrel, bolt, case deflector that I'm not using at the time.
Yes i'm not happy, since it's advertised everywhere about the caliber conversions for all the models. I guess the only hope that I would have is if the competition model gas blocks were available? It should be removable from the barrel.
I seem to recall Wolverine saying something about this.......Hmmm
aw, damn. Yeah I missed the memo. It was just very recent that I got my xcr and wasn't too long before that when I was actually shopping - looking at all the awesome models they have.
I had shot a couple of the pistol sized versions and loved those experiences, but I never thought I would end up owning one!
After thinking about selling some things and possibly getting a non restricted, I saw the competition model and fell in love! It's very enjoyable to shoot by the way. I'll be ok with just .223, but it would've been nice to have the other caliber (7.62x39 which i'm a fan of as well)
....well that sucks! Sorry to hear about that. Maybe I should take the rifle off your hands for you![]()
Hey guys. I just took off the pistol grip for the first time and noticed theres a wee spring and detent pin for the safety that sits in it. If i buy the magpul moe grip will it still accomodate the spring and pin?
Hey guys,my safety lever is spinning freely, something let go.
It still shoots but I have to keep the the safety lever pinned with my finger. Any ideas as to what's wrong
small bolt is tight, can't move it.IIRC, the safety is held on with a very small allen bolt. Check on the right side of the receiver where the "other side" of the safety is, and see if that small bolt has come loose (it may still be attached, but not holding the safety tightly). If it has come loose, then you should be able to tighten it if you have a small enough allen key.
Ya,I found it under my gun safe, didn't even know it was missingYes you need that spring buddy. It's just like on ARs. Whenever i change out grips i always keep an eye on that lil bugger
So to all of you brahs who switched out the FAST stock for an Ar style stock- how do you find the cheek weld now? Can you see through optics properly? The ar style stocks seem to sit a fair bit lower on the XCR.
