X95 Non restricted whos getting one ?

Has nothing to do with not registering them , I has everything to do with not having to waste my time going to a range, Paying useless range fees, and having to ask the RCMP permission to move.

agreed but the main point being made here is that we are on a temporary non-restricted lifeline that can be cut any day--as it has in the past--i dont believe for a minute we are going to walk by unscathed---

Thats only if we line up and comply.

OK....don't comply. See where that gets you. What? Gonna risk everything you own, your livelihood, and your freedom just to unearth your buried Black and Green Treasures every New Years for a covert trip to private property for a bit of a "dirt shoot"? Then what? Risk getting caught on the way home to rebury your gems? Good luck. You are entirely delusional. And I predict that you will roll over just like everyone else. Doers don't talk ####e on the internet. They just do what they need to do, without anyone who doesn't need to know being the wiser. Too late for everyone on this board, I'm afraid. You might as well have a target tattooed on your back...

best ones i like is threads with--show us your guns--show us your ammo-show us your gun room-how many rounds do you store--priceless

Not to rain on anyone's Xmas, but I really can't wrap my head around those who persist in thinking that they are somehow ahead of the curve by owning only non-restricted firearms and ridiculing anything restricted as mere "range toys". Folks such as these have either willfully or negligently decided to ignore the history of Canadian Firearms Legislation over the past 100 years, with an emphasis on the most recent 30 year decline in our rights. I find this ignorance deliriously odd, given the professed hobby of those who spout it. But I digress. I've been around long enough, and owned enough "black and green" guns of all classifications less FA, to know that they are all just a stroke of the govt pen away from prohibition and eventual confiscation. After all, it was a mere stroke of the Liberal and Conservative pens that saw my very own firearms become 12(3), 12(4), 12(5) and 12(6) prohibs, some of them (eg. Steyr AUG) went from NR one day, to Prohib the very next. So if you think that the very same medicine is not in store for your very expensive and oh, so precious non-restricted black and green firearms? Well, then, some of you are seriously delusional. The RCMP may very well be evil and politicized at the top end of their bureaucracy, but they are also not stupid. They aren't about to waste their current opportunity to screw all owners of black and green guns in squarely in the keister. Just wait for it. In the interim, enjoy your soon to be restricted or prohibited X-95. Just don't forget to stock up on KY Jelly so it slips smoothly from your hands when the time inevitably comes....

What a complete crock of sh*t. Get off of your high horse. I happen to enjoy bullpups. They just happen to be NR. A lot of people own NR's for a variety of reasons. To lump them all the way you did is dumb.

I can say that those who own AR-15's are just a bunch of overweight operator wannabe's who would wet themselves if they were ever in a two way firing range, so they get to play good little monkey to the government, who let them take their modded toys to the range to look tacticool.

See? I can lump people together too, even if it sounds just as dumb as what you wrote. ;)

The X-95 may look like a Ferrari, but shoots like a Lada.

Strong stament from someone with a scpoed SKS... LMFAO...

I dont sit on my butt and shoot groups at the range. I use rifles as intended. Printing groups is as fun as getting kicked in the balls.

CQB with my Tavor was the most fun ive ever had with my clothes on. So i dont expect my X95 to be any different.

Exactly. The purpose of this design is not solely for accuracy, as such some compromises were made in favor of other features. I am 100% fine with this because I understand this at the time of purchase. Not every one wants an moa milsurp bench gun.

Now we are comparing a semi to a bolt action. Yeah CGN !!! :)

My ACR and the APC have on the way are both MOA guns. And from what Wolverine posted the APC will be a sub moa semi. And yet I have no issue purchasing a 2-3 MOA bullpup.

Love how some mebers here think printing groups is the end all be all of the sport.

This guns merits of being a bullpup and the most aggressively small bullpup available is enough to justify it. Its a 2-3 moa gun and that's perfect for what it was designed for. If I was sent to war, id take the c7 for open desert, and the x95 for urban or vehicular warfare. I don't know why everyone was expecting 1 moa from this gun... Those people weren't looking for a bullpup to start with obviously.

Exactly, how can one expect to get tight groups when your fore grip is 75% of the way up the barrel. It's cqb, that's why I ordered one... and for some fun factor.

Just don't forget that American rack grade M4 are required to be 3 MOA guns. That's what the American army need for a combat rifle. Sub moa gun isn't needed for a general infantry.

Came on this thread to hopefully see some X95's. Ended up reading about UN markings (I'm not knocking the guy who brought it up, it's good to know) and some guy telling us it's going to be prohibited/restricted in the near future. Boys, we are an optimistic bunch.

I'll be buying an X95.
