Let's see some pics of your Pimped out Troy PAR

Just installed TriggerTech drop in. Very easy and just fell in with a very snug fit once the two FCG pin set screws are tightened down.(note: pins will fall out when you tilt the rifle if the set screws are not used)

Is this a standard AR15 trigger install? Not that I've done one before, but I'm sure there's a few thousand YouTube videos on it.

I have video of it and will YouTube it, but Yes it's a standard AR trigger install that is much easier. This is a one piece drop in unit compared to a multiple piece Mil-Spec trigger.

so i,m thinking of putting a shorter bbl on the par, with a ar15 carbine stock not the ### side folder, just wondered how short i can go
need to know the distence from bot face to the end of the hand guard

This is what i've been waiting for someone to do! I look forward to your results! A nr sbr!

This is why I bought it.
13" handguard from front of receiver to handguard.
Pump collar runs from 2-8" I believe, and bolts protrude in slightly more than internal ID, can be ground down to accommodate larger profiles.
There's a link by a guy detailing everything if you Google. 277 Wolverine Par.

Here's mine with a Rainier Arms Match .223 Wylde Barrel. I had a bunch of problems with the factory barrel not cycling so I had to replace the barrel, I'm glad I did though. Cleaner chamber and bolt now.
I found that the magpul qd paraclip adapter was the only qd that would fit in the qd hole.

Did you trim or purchase shorter pump collar bolts that are near the chamber?

Troy PAR in .338 Federal, I put on a GL shock butt stock, Hogue grip, Timney Trigger ( which works with pump action release ) Vortex Viper PST 4 - 16 x 50, I bought a precision armament muzzle break, but have to get it machined from 5/8X24 to what Troy used 3/4X24

be interesting to see if it doesn't have the light impacts that the geissele have.

Finally was able to get out today. Not one issue with the Trigger Tech trigger.

Only criticism, is you really need to cycle to pump with some authority on the reload. Otherwise the bolt isn't fully engaged. I had no problem, but our 15 year old exchange student from Norway was having a problem until I had her cycle through with some force.

Needless to say, since she's a Norwegian biathlete, I was quickly schooled in the fine art of target shooting.

It's a great and worthwhile addition to these rifles.

It will get better after a few hundred rounds. Also use a grease during the breakin.

Here's my .308 Troy PAR I picked up a couple weeks ago. Just got a bunch of goodies in the mail today :). Put on a Magpul STR stock, which despite being heavier than the original, makes the gun feel lighter particularly when the scope is on by shifting the weight balance back a bit (my brother agrees). Also got a Magpul AFG2, rear MBUS, Burris PEPR QD for my Nikon Prostaff which just had cheapo rings before, and a 20x5 Pmag for tacticoolness.

Still waiting for the front MBUS to show up, nobody I was ordering from had both black ones in stock. Also have a XCR-M .308 10rd pistol mag coming in that order for some ammo wasting fun.

Next on the list is a hard case, now that I've confirmed with the new stock that it will still fit in an inside diameter of 36". I'd love to be able to track down a Noveske TRX QD sling mount or something equivalent for the front as that would also be bipod compatible, probably going to use a loop of string or leather through the front holes to attach a sling for now.

Took mine to the range finally a few weeks back and was really surprised how accurate it was. It shot nice groups at the 100 yard.

I'm going to switch from the side folder to a magpul PRS. I picked up a bunch of the adaptors to switch it over so you can swap your side folder to a buffer tube style stock.

Here's some pics of the adaptors, they were pricey after conversion and shipping but its worth it as that side folder isn't cutting for me.

Were did you order the adapter from?

My Troy PAR .308 arrived in the mail today. First impressions: Looks great, cycles smoothly, trigger has quite a bit of creap but seems quite smooth, magazine is ejected very briskly when the mag release is depressed. It came with 2 10 rd pistol mags one Magpul 5/10 and one Magpul 5/25. Here are a few pictures, the last pic shows the scope I intend to use, but I will need some high rings or PEPR mount.

OK, so why is the safety marked safe/semi? Does troy make a semi auto that uses the same lower?

This is incredible did you buy this brand new like this with all these extra magazines? If so where and how much did you pay?
