I'm curious Mr. Wolverine. There has been a lot of speculation and innuendo in other threads, not to mention the endless RCMP bashing. My curiosity concerns the reason for the ruling on these rifles. We are all aware of the OIC which applied to a specific batch of rifles. So, are all the other CZ/VZ rifles built on new S.A. only receivers which means they do not need the exemption, and 2. were these current rifles built on new S.A. built receivers or were they built on the previous C.A. receivers ?

The answer to this would go a long way in clearing up the confusion and endless speculation threads. I apologize if this has already been covered.

Dude this has been covered 1000000000 times.

The first step is an appeal to the RCMP SFSS to have the FRT reviewed by a different analyst. Their decision has to be made with in 30 days of the review application being made. I intend to prepare this submission over the weekend and submit early next week. That completes Plan A, depending on the results we may have to switch to plan B.

Thanks for all the support and offers of funding but no support is required for Plan A. I have bee gathering material to support this all week.

I am curious , could this perhaps lead to a legal case against the Firearms lab experts showing a bias and thrm not being suitable for the position of classification decisions . I don't know how feasible this would be or if it would open a can of worms worse than that which we now face. But It might be worth considering and funding as a challenge.

An interesting thought, first we see how plan A works out. As for plan B that has to be carefully planned and all the consequences considered, both good and bad, which ever way the final decision goes, not just for Wolverine but for all of us.

Sure you may look like a pedophile but doing that to your van is not inherently illegal. You would not expect to be refused the right to own such a vehicle.

You know, I wonder what would happen if someone actually wrote "Free Candy" on one of their cube vans and started just driving around normally just like everyone else. Not even in a kid's zone let's say, but just your typical day to day.

Would people complain? Would the police stop you and ask WTF?

Technically you're not doing anything illegal.

I didn't even want one of these until now. Something about having the government telling a grown man he can't have a rifle because it has bad writing on it that just screams F you commies.
Now I want it.

If everyone who posted in this thead went and bought something from wolverine right now I am sure it would help their legal fund.

I am doing this right now. I am spending a bit more than I was planning on BUT it is going to a great company.
Like has been stated before let's buy everything they have in stock and then buy out what they bring in to replace that.

I am also putting an order together. Finding stuff on their website that I "need" and making a list.

Some things I could get locally and save the shipping and some stuff I can get cheaper elsewhere but I feel good giving my business to a retailer like Wolverine. It is the least I can do.

Thanks for all the support, I spent my weekend preparing my appeal submission to the RCMP SFSS, this will be couriered to them tomorrow. It finished up been close to 4 pages long plus numerous supporting documents. We should have an answer with in 30 days of the RCMP receiving it. Keep smiling :)

That is awesome! I am shure the individual who came down with the prohibited designation knew he didn't have much to stand on but said F it I am filling it as so.

Hopefully this appeal will overthrow that bad judgment call.
