US M14 Parts Kits

BTW John, Thank you for bringing these in. I know it is a lot of time and effort to get these into the country (and sort through them). Big kudos to you and your staff. I am really looking forward to when they arrive at the door.

I woke up this morning at 3:45 am.

Got in the truck and drove to Virden to see the very, very nice folks at Wolverine.

I was parked in front of the store at 7:45. I had a very nice conversation with John, while Ryan was filling my order.

I have just returned home and had a quick look at the parts kits. So far I am very impressed!

The barrels on my heavys were manufactured in 1983. There is a litttle-to-no throat erosion showing on my gauge. The parts kits are mixed. I do not have a complete TRW kit, but I could assemble one with the parts in the kits. It's a smattering of H&R, SA, TRW and "X" (seriously it's an X where the manf stamp should be on the one bolt).

Remember, with the HB rifles, these were scoped "DMR" rifles, so the "rifle in a bag" with all the parts in it, was assembled (likely at a depot level) and tested to be a marksmans rifle. The so it doesn't really matter what the parts are in the bag, it met a minimum standard for accuracy when it was assembled!

I am very excited to get started on the builds I have planned for these parts. I'm also very excited for my customers who allowed me to pick-up their kits! It'll be like watching the kids on Christmas morning when I hand them their parts kit!

A great big thumbs up for the folks at Wolverine from me! And I really do appreciate the effort and hassle you guys went through to get these here, and at rock-bottom prices too! These kits would have easily cost me $2000 from my regular sources!

John

Well then I shall keep my fingers crossed.
Again, thank you so much for these rare pieces, at a reasonable price!

We all really appreciate the spectrum of what wolverine does for firearms owners I should hope! Fair prices, great customer service, unique offerings and being huge advocates for our rights!!

Dang, totally forgot I should have fired off a message to you earlier M14Medic, as I more than likely will be looking your way to help get this thing set up. All and all, Thanks Wolverine; I'm sure the speed at which your order flooded in made you begin to feel that all the work was worth it and appreciated.

Had these come out on Monday, I would've been at the storefront Saturday like you were today! Haha.

Just curious, but after looking at the www site, how about galil parts kits in 762x51 ? And mags ?

Depending on price and the minimum order.....

Been trying to find this stock version through google and was having trouble until I typed in "Israeli M14" then I got the exact match, are these from the IDF M14's? Also read that the "X" indication marked on some parts that John from M14Medic mentioned means that a confirmed kill was completed with the rifle! Very cool story if thats true! In any case these are awesome.

Yes these are ex IDF rifles, the stocks were shipped to us seperatly to the rest of the rifle so no longer paired up and yes I was told that some were marked for "Kills"
