APC223 Non restricted whos getting one ?

Really nice one. From which retailer do you get them in Canada?
Could not find one in Canada anywhere: only the crossbow versions. Good thing there's a site sponser that runs guns!

These ship without a mount. I couldn't fine the low mount anywhere, tried to get it off optics planet who denied export, ultimately picked up an American Defense Manufacturing one that's compatible from Red Deer Shooting Centre for a price I consider reasonable. I also found the Larue mount in stock in Canada, but can't remember where. It was almost 2x the price, and I have to say that the 3 ADM mounts I've had in the past have been awesome.

I'm still waiting on IRG for mine...
I do have my mount, kinda hard to judge how good it is without the scope or the gun! Where'd you buy the scope?

Got one from Calgary shooting centre, they only had doughnut reticle.

Eye relief is about 2". It's a tiny 24mm tube, but it brings LOS down very close to the rail. Standard high quality TJ glass.

The only bad thing (I am spoiled by ELCANs and big ACOGs), it has that "looking into the pipe" effect, similar if you mount aimpoint micro too far back on the rail.

Edit: Tried to mount it on Larue (for normal acogs), it doesn't fit the cut in the mount. It has to be specific a mount for mini-ACOG.

Hey BlackVoid, got my ACOG from irg today: it appears to be the wrong height :(
Does yours have a hole in the bottom of the body, allegedly to look through? I was looking for the ones that were 43mm high. Matched numbers off the Trijicon site, but got one that's 53mm high. Kinda frustrating, defeats the purpose of the whole exercise of trying to mount it at the proper height! And before anyone gets offended, I'm not blaming irg: they sent the part number I ordered. The part number ordered matches the box and the trijicon website. The serial number on the sight matches the one on the box. However, the model does not match the picture or specs on the website. Will have to call them and the manufacturer tomorrow to try and get this straightened out.

Appreciate the media to keep building the suspense dilligaf!

Nope. no hole, it is similar to crossbow scopes from TJ. I'll snap some pics during my lunch with mini-ACOG, ACOG and SG542 so you have an idea on how it all compares.

Part number i got is this: TA50-C-400232

looking at the larue LT105 i noticed that the spacer with see-through hole is maybe removable?

Thanks, I appreciate the info.
I've spoken to Trijicon and kept irg in the loop, I'm certain mine was mislabeled from the factory. The base of mine (with the hole) is machined into the body of the scope, definitely not removable. See what transpires. Hopefully they get it sorted, and hopefully the rifle's don't get pushed back any more!

Thanks bv. This is the first acog I've bought so didn't have any frame of referance to compare it to. I see what you mean regarding the size difference between it and your other one. It is tiny!! I'm stoked on it though, I think once I've got the one I actually ordered mounted on the APC it's going to be the right tool for the job.
Yeah, clearly I've got the wrong one. Spoken with Trij and irg, both of whom told me that their computers assure them that they sent the correct sight. Sent an email to trij with some pics showing that, although it's nearly inconceivable, their computers might have been given some bad information.
On a positive note, the ADM mount fit well, utilizing the front and back holes on the acog. Now just need the right sight and the rifle and I'm set!
