Tod that is just a prediction. i had a 9.3x62 with a 20 inches that was sending a 286 grains bullet faster than one with a 23.6 inches one ... i like my ruger but this not an hype or a cult just a tool lol ....

A 40 fps prediction to boot...... only once was the same powder listed for comparison between the two.....

Predicted data is so far from the truth in my findings. I finally got one that shoots way quicker than any of the published loads I shoot from it! For the most part anyway, a couple powders are the exception of shooting slower than published.

The brass really isn’t that Bad made 1500 or more cases in 7-338-375 Ruger.

What, no .35 or .366 conversion yet?:d:p Those would be fun.

You said it!!!:nest:

Who wouldn't want time proven performance from the obsolete .375 H&H in 24" barrel, but housed in a more compact, 20" barrel rifle, using a modern case? The obsolete 375 H&H has great performance, the NEW KING simply does everything better in all areas except for nostalgia. If nostalgia is your thing, the H&H is your huckleberry.

Likely these were 2 completely different type of rifles except the cartridge they were chambered for? The QL predictions assume all else is equal.

The only place the 375 H&H is obsolete is in your mind.
I have both 375s, Ruger and H&H and they are and can be loaded to be near equal performance without fear.
So, you just carry on trying to convince the audience that the H&H is obsolete which is a load of BS, someone out there might almost believe you.
Frankly, I don't understand why the contempt for the H&H......

Just having a little fun. "Methinks thou doth protest too much"

Why are people here having such a hard time with the term obsolete? Just because the H&H is an obsolete design does not make it useless. I think we could all agree that the carb on an automobile is obsolete right, doesn't mean they don't work. The H&H case is in fact obsolete. If anyone wants to argue that fact then they need to show us a case with severe taper on the body and shoulder that has been released in the last say 40 years.

The 375 Ruger is the replacement for the H&H, may as well go get one. I mean you all are driving with fuel injection right?

Exactly. Pretty simple, really.
