....Ron's gain twist starts at about 1:20 ratio and finishes at about 1:12 he said, I'm planning on shooting 250 grain matrix bonded or perhaps 270's. I fired one round on his property to check it out when I was out there....

I can tell you that the Matrix 270 bonded performs very well on big game. No trick at all to start it out at close to 2600 fps, shoots flat enough to use point blank to 250 meters.
Here's one that took care of a really big grizzly with a single shot.
Tremendous expansion, and retained more than 90% original weight.
This is pretty typical performance on all the game I have taken, or seen taken, with Matrix hunting bullets in any caliber.

The website shows that 1000 pcs is the minimum order. That's not for an individual, I think.Does Matrix still sell 9.3 bullets? I thought the new owner was focusing on target bullets for the time being. My plan is to run 286 Woodleighs through mine
Steve is running a batch of 290 grains for the 9.3 just contact them.

I got 200 pcs from Marshal when he was still in crofton, Vancouver island. If 1000 pcs is indeed the minimum, I will switch to A-Frame
Well, I am a strong advocate and user of Matrix bullets, but will not be ordering any at all if 1000 pcs is the minimum.
Always ordered them 50 or 100 at a time from Marshal. Just sent him an email. Hopefully that is a typo..... 100 would make sense.

It's not a 1000. Price is $75CAD/50 bullets before tax and shipping. He's just tooling up for another batch and needs a 400 more bullets on order to begin another run. I'm contemplating whether to by the Woodleigh or Matrix. I'm thinking of using the woodleighs in 375 as well, so it would be easier to buy it all from one vendor.
Okay, thanks for the update, Mik.
I have also used the Matrix 375 bullets, and they are an amazingly accurate hunting bullet that expands and holds together just like the 7mm, 308, and 9.3s I have used.
Be sure to at least try one box of 375s. You will be pleased.
