X95 Non restricted whos getting one ?

How did you manage 13 holes with 11 shots?
This was shot with my new X95. 11 shots with 55 gr. Hornady fmj reloads at 100 yds.

I have so far shot two, 5 shot groups of 1.5" at 100 yds. My best so far, with Nosler 69 gr. match bullets and VV540 powder has been 1.348". This is my first Tavor. I am happy with the accuracy as it has been better than I expected. The hardest part is finding a decent rest when shooting groups. Lots of potential in this rifle. Going to try it in our CQB competitions soon.

Rugerman: Nice gorups!

I don't reload .223/5.56 but wish I did.

Today I removed the barrel ring to free the contact with barrel and plastic. I'll see if that improves my groupings with my retail ammo next outing.

Aprilia Man: I'm not at home but less than 31" OAL.

Thank You .... mine is on the way. Just looking around for either a hard case or soft case.

LOL, i wondered if anyone would comment. This was the first time I shot this rifle. It was shooting high and left. Moved the settings down and right but two holes at 9 o'clock were residual from the last sighting in shots. There were actually five shots just off the bull with two edging into the target at 9:00 o'clock. Adjusted to the right one last time and fired 11 shots. I just left them there. I did a review and range report elsewhere on CGN and explained this. Didn't bother for this post as NaOH just wanted to know what people were getting for groups. Finally, even if you did include them, it wouldn't have changed the group size.
So now you know. :)

That is not true. Some sold for less. You just need to ask for a discount. 2599 is MAP minimum advertised price.
I have not seen any in Canada go for cheaper then MAP. Who was selling it cheaper?

Any one notice if you don't let the charging handle go quickly the slide will not fully close? It kept happening to the GF on the weekend cause she would hold on to the handle a bit to much instead of letting it snap.I would pull the handle back just far enough to not grab another round but enough to get it to snap closed. The slide would stay open from 1/4" to 3/4'' when this happens, my question is what would happen if I were to not be there and she pulled the trigger? At 3/4" I would assume nothing but at 1/4"....

I have noticed the same thing. As I am not familiar with the previous Tavor models I wasn't sure if this was normal or not.

Offcoursr you would not see it because there is a MAP of 2599.

You would need to ask for it. I can't be the only one who asked and got a discount of the map.

I call BS. A retailer isn't going to knock off hundreds of dollars from MSRP just because you ask nicely. Especially on a product in such demand.

I had been offered one for significantly less, but I passed as at the time I had just bought several other high priced things.

MAP is just that, and its not what you know but rather who you know.

Ok. Keep believing that. everything is negotiable. THINK why is it called MAP? And what benefit do i get by making stuff up? Just being a good samaritan.

This rifle retails for US$1500 in US. Why suddenly adding 2 inches of barrel, would make it US$2000 (2599). There is plenty of margin in this rifle? There is no shortage. Its business.

that is just a hype which the distributor creates. WestRifle was hyping up shortage in SKS. Why do you think there is going to be a lack of supply on this rifle? It's just business.

Now i just need some time to go shoot as my range is good 1hr away.

How many times do we have to go over this? US has 10x the population than us, whether it's guns, cars, computers, washing machine etc. Everything costs less in the US because they sell way more in volume than us. If you think Canada gets guns at the same price as the US then I want what you are smoking.
