2 seconds per quad load?
Nobody wears vests in 3 gun... Certainly not load bearing
fundamentals and talent.
What's a good par time for practicing quad loads?
Damn dude...that's really fast. Watched your load 20 vid too. Seems like you can do that pretty consistently.Depends how competitive you want to be, I've seen some guys drop 1.5-1.6sec loads. I'm at about 1.9sec now. I want to get to the 1.5sec mark but its going to take lots of practice. Nothing wrong with a fast load someone that can go one for one on a shotgun stage with a 3sec load will smoke someone that can drop 1.5s but has a few misses.
Not sure if this will work but I'll try to put in a video of me doing a 1.9sec quad...
Still lots of time on the table to clean that up.
Real eager for 3 gun over here...
...all for 3 matches this year lol.
You gotta start coming up to CR. There's a match every month up there, usually the first Saturday of the month. May 5th is the next. Get some use out of all that gear...

2 seconds is super fast to me but people can do it no problem. Once you get the hang of it, you will get faster. I was going to have my load port opened up even more to help out but local smith wants to charge $300 and I am not idea if thats expensive or not. Seems expensive.
And he can do that with his hands covered in mud up to the elbows.
Still lots of time on the table to clean that up.
It's a bit too far for me right now with family/work situation, but maybe next year! When does the season start and end?
Hahahaha Are you ever going to let me live that down?
25 shotshells wouldn't be enough around here. I've carried as many as 48 (including what's in the gun) on shotgun-only stages.
I think it's fine for the island as far as I know. I only have 24 rounds in gun and shell carriers for the pump (10 more in sidesaddle and buttstock that I don't expect to use but live on the gun anyway. What do you think about 5 round mags vs pump with 3 seconds-ish quad loads?
The mags are heavy. If I needed more rounds, the answer would be shell carrier, easy.
I'd imagine the quad load guy would be faster overall, though we don't see mag fed shotguns here any more.
Edited to add:
Personally, I don't relish the thought of going at a Death Star or spinners or flippers with only 5 rounds in my shotgun. Seems to me like flow through the stage would be a lot more choppy and broken. Also, if the stage requires slugs you'll need a mag or two just for slugs.
