7.5 upper

It arrived a few weeks ago, I just got it to the range. Ran great and was more fun than it should have been.

Stuck it on a Spikes lower

Compensator seems to direct the gas nice and even and recoil was better than I expected

Test firing Troy Defense M7A1 7.5" Upper with Surefire 60rd magazines & function was flawless using Federal M855 FMJ.

Completed mine and got to the range. Aero upper, brownells Bcg, nea barrel. Only shot about 60 rounds, no ftf or fte's. Using my cheap load of 4198 there was no unburnt powder in the barrel. Didn't seem any dirtier than my other ar either. Paired it with my windham lower stock buffer tube.
 


That's the 7.62x39 one I had built Joe. Tons of fun, but I have a 7.5 VZ58 I enjoy more, so I ended up selling it. I find they make me "Scrunch up" when firing with the stock, but darn fun and foolish loud. I ran a H2 buffer.

Building a 7.5" 5.56 now to register it as a pistol on my NEA-P Lower. What buffer did you use after?

Also, as an aside, what happened to NLShooters after, seemed to drop off the map one day. Fire me a PM.
 
Loads of fun in X39. Just changed the flash hider for a S&J Linear Compensator and waiting on SFRC to get the 9" Mlok rails from NEA for the "tucked in" look.

I've got a PSA 8.5" upper with PSA BCG that's been pretty reliable. I'm waiting for SGW to get in some of the Aero m4e uppers so I can transplant the barrel into it. There's nothing wrong with the PSA receiver mine was forged by Anchor Harvey I just wanted the upper receiver to match my Aero lower. I'm also waiting on the Hera CQR furniture from wolverine to be exported from Germany to complete it. Right now it's got a MFT minimalist stock on it. Just keep in mind that they are going to be loud, I always double up with ear protection when using it.

Wolverine shipped my CQR furniture last week and finally had a chance to install it, here's my SBR.

I'm still waiting for SGW to receive it's latest AERO order so I can swap out to a M4E Upper and an Aero 7" keymod rail.

I'm still running a standard A2 Flash hider on mine, I'm curious to find out what muzzle devices other's are running on their short barrel AR's. I keep looking at Griffin M4SD flash hider or the Strike Industries Venon Flash Hider to replace the A2 anyone have any suggestions? I'd like to stick with a flash hider as I don't want to be that guy on the firing line sending gas to the people next to me.
