been kinda out of it for a while, but in the last few days I have fully prepped about 150 8x57 brass. ready to load, all done. Also about that same number, maybe a bit more in 7.5x55 Swiss for the K31. And about 150-200 in .223. Still have to do about 100 more in .223 but is getting close.
Brass prep is a bit of a slog, but its worth it to know you did all of that yourself. crimped primer pockets, dirty crap, stuck cases, even a broken resizing ball/decapper rod.
but, every case is decapped, polished, primer pockets normalized for depth and width, flash holes checked, sized, measured, chamfered inside and out and primed.
no, I haven't gone to annealing, turning necks etc, not there in my shooting, nor do I have the equipment or skills to need it.
lots of recipes to try out, lots of powder and projectiles to use.
And, I owe it all to you guys on here, some of you in person too. thanks!
