The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

Following on from my 200 rounds of 9mm yesterday I churned out another 500 rounds today

I made two batches with different loads - off to the range tomorrow to try them out.....

I reloaded 20 rounds of 110gr 7.62x51 in Noveske brass with IMR 4895. We will see if they run OK in the Modern Hunter. They were originally 110gr but I believe they were nosler varmageddon projectiles. Trying to duplicate the factory loading.

Loaded up another 300rnds of 124gr Campros behind 4.1gr of TiteGroup.

Pulled 14rnds 9mm, one 40SW rnds that I picked up from the range yesterday while cleaning up after an IPSC match up in Alliston. About three of them had WAY WAY too much crimp on them and on one of them, someone has been reloading with a Lee bullet seating die and has the roll crimp turned down WAY too much so that the case mouth is starting to roll over. Dunno who's ammo it was but if you happen to have shot the L2 match at Alliston this past weekend and you're reloading with Lee dies, you might want to back off your crimp on your bullet seating die.

Found 75 loaded rounds of 9mm at the range mixed in with the empty brass. They had good jacketed hollow point bullets, so I spent a little while pulling bullets today.

And then loaded 100 rounds of 30-06 for the Garands.

A new (to me) .38spl combo using Unique and Speer LSWC 158gn bullets. Got a good deal on these Speers recently and had some Unique kicking around - read some good things about the combo so will give it a try.

I also prepped up 100 pieces of 223 (deprimed/cleaned/lubed/resized/trimmed/primed) ready for loading when my 62gr pills show up, then its off to the range with my new SL8

been kinda out of it for a while, but in the last few days I have fully prepped about 150 8x57 brass. ready to load, all done. Also about that same number, maybe a bit more in 7.5x55 Swiss for the K31. And about 150-200 in .223. Still have to do about 100 more in .223 but is getting close.

Brass prep is a bit of a slog, but its worth it to know you did all of that yourself. crimped primer pockets, dirty crap, stuck cases, even a broken resizing ball/decapper rod.

but, every case is decapped, polished, primer pockets normalized for depth and width, flash holes checked, sized, measured, chamfered inside and out and primed.

no, I haven't gone to annealing, turning necks etc, not there in my shooting, nor do I have the equipment or skills to need it.

lots of recipes to try out, lots of powder and projectiles to use. :)

And, I owe it all to you guys on here, some of you in person too. thanks!

Loaded 100 rounds of 45 Colt for a new to me S&W Model 25. Bought new dies and conversion kit for my 650 so had to get those set up. Using 200 gr LRNFP over 6.0 gr of W231, a fairly mild load to get started.

A whole whack of .222 Rem loaded with standard c&c 50 grain SP's, getting ready for fox opener. Also downloading .30/06 deer loads to 2500 fps using H4895, for the kids.
