Hey guys, so I know this rifle has enough threads that it's been beaten to death but this is one where I think we should ONLY post reliability reports. Round count, failures, successes etc.

Please don't fill this thread with hate or praise, or how you're planning on decking your rifle out, there are other threads for that. This is just to evaluate its durability over a period of time from a wide base of users in an attempt to have a quasi consensus on reliability.

Try to keep it civilized. I normally **** on NEA, but I don't want to see it here unless it pertains to the 102, NOT the AR-15's, and it has to be on a factual basis.

UPDATE FROM MIKE THE BIKE:

I believe BAD ammo so far:
FNM NATO Ball
Hornady 155gr american gunner .308

Good Ammo:
XM80
Norma Match 168gr
Barnes 150gr TSX
Norinco
R1M1 ball surplus
Hirtenberger 165 grain soft point
Federal 150 grain soft point
Federal 180 grain soft point

Yet to be tested:
Aguila 762x51
Hornady 308 155gr steel match

Quick video of a rapid fire test. Shot about 150 rounds of junk baurnel and Chinese surplus through it today. Absolutely zero malfunctions. Mags used were xcr-10 round pistol mags. And pmags. All functioned well and dropped free. Sadly my optic that I ordered hadn't arrived yet so I was stuck slapping on some garbage iron sites i had laying around from another AR build. Gun is definately awesome, quality feels great. No rattle and no gap between upper and lower. I definately took a big sigh of relief after today in that right out the box its functioning well (so far). I will attempt an accuracy test once the optic i ordered arrives. Thanks SFRC and Black Creek Labs!

100% half assed! but just couldnt resist!

Last night mine chewed through 100 rounds of 147 gr Hirt and XM80CL using an IMI mag. Functioned 100%, brass looks good and is ejected into a tight group. Doesn't seem over or under gassed with this ammo. Haven't done an inspection of the BCG or anything yet but I will before I head out next time.

awesome to hear!

100 plus rounds downrange today. 7 different types

ONLY ammo it did not like was FNM 80-7 NATO ball. It failed to fully extract & eject the spent case prior to trying to chamber a round.

I thought it might be the IMI mag I was using, so I stayed with the mag to eliminate it as the cause. I continued to shoot the other 6 types of ammunition with no issues.

I really like this rifle!

Cheers
