The fact that getting a glock 19 in Canada with original glock barrel is impossible unless you have a license for prohibited. Simple.
Also, other than being polymers the mp and the Glock share absolutely nothing. One is made with cheap finishing and materials, whereas the other one shines in barrel durability, finish and accuracy (without mentioned reliability and a better trigger). Whoever denies this, simply never owned both guns to do an honest comparison
I would not total so harshly about Glocks.
When someone starts talking about how reliable a Glock is over any other modern pistol they either have not shot a lot or read to many Glock ads. Virtually all modern designs are reliable and all guns have parts break. The question I pose that you did not address is the attraction of a Glock 19 with a barrel length only 2MM shorter than a Commander length barrel ie 4.25" or 108MM. We can't carry up here concealed up here so other than shooting IDPA Compact Division, the attraction is more a boutique gun and I guess there is that.
