I am on the preorder, I have talked to them. someone is lying bottom line.


If I submit a rifle to the RCMP for FRT approval, the RCMP does not call another random retailer for information, nor would a random retailer call the RCMP to give information on my submission unless there were ulterior motives
 
Reading the Wanstalls posts it appears that they had a line on x amount of rifles and did the preorder. Which could mean they found a cheaper stash of rifles from a third party and were bringing those in. There may have just been too many people ordering. They needed to close the order. They stated that those rifles in the shipment not presold would be sold first come first served. I'm not making this up, go read the first few pages of the original Wanstalls thread.

Your end part with the ulterior motives could be correct but if you did call then you would have heard the same thing I did then a close buddy who did te same as me then.
Doesn't mean #### or matter now at all cuz it seems the iron fist has come down on us and now the price WILL BE higher now fvcking us canadian gunnies more and more now

For attempting to bring the product to the Canadian market at a fair/reasonable price? If anything the "I submitted the FRT therefore I should have sole distribution rights" mantra is ####ed up.

I'll wait to hear full statements from both retailers.

If wanstalls had an agreement with M+M that M+M is no longer honoring it would be easy for them to prove by posting the details. This is the only way they can possibly save face along with explaining what "extensive work" they did with the RCMP to get CanadAmmo's rifle submission approved as NR.

until I see either, It is cut and dry who is to blame here
 
For taking peoples money and pre-orders without securing the pricing, either through neglect and straight up lying.

Thats why.

Incompetent or liars.

Just read that statement on their FB page. If this is the case, I will never purchase any M+M products and make sure none of my hunting network do the same. What a joke that company is and I will continue to support Wanstalls.

Really wonder who started clouds of smoke after successful sea of preorders.

the guys doing the preorder should have secured the rifles before offering them for sale, it is obvious by M+M's statements that the rifles being sold were not coming from them directly and the retailer is certainly not explaining the situation

Unless Canada Ammo kicked up a ####-fit. Screw them too.

You are right. Let’s wait for official confirmation and cause from Wanstalls. This is the least they can do.
