I think Mickey just lost it. Do they have different ppl posting? That would be the only explanation they contradict their previous posts. By the time Mickey openly confirmed WS order there were no deal with NS. Rumors are some greedy US company was trying to convince some Canadian companies to sell their rifle with price too high, and Canadian companies politely refused. However another Canadian company was eager to impose NR tax. No big deal, it's a reality for many things Canadians get hosed with. Not just firearms. Nobody boycotts car, electronics and appliance makers. We can pay more and we are ready to do so.

Yup, they are in major damage control trying to come off as being a victim along with all the presale buyers.

They absolutely screwed up royally but somehow it's being overlooked for the most part.

People can make all the comments they want one way or the other. However, what this is really all about to me is guys are just getting sick and tired of being robbed no matter who exactly is doing it.

Google "TSE cz858 ban" in google. no need to be here.

For Wanstall, don't really care. I have already ordered many times over the years..... but I will never buy there again. And I will always says they trowed theirs customers under the bus when It is not enough profitable. They already buy for North Sylva, they choose to not carry this rifle

Yes, but you have to take their word for it. Not saying they are not being truthful, they very well might be, there's just no way to know 100%.

I found it... they claim to have been told they would be getting distiributor level pricing... but never said whether M+M provided a number for what that would be.

I think I have pieced it together and I blame both Wanstalls and M+M for this fiasco. Both appear to have misled and lied through omission.

I emailed Wanstalls today asking when they would begin processing refunds.

No response, and no response to another inquiry I e-mailed them Friday asking why they wouldnt offer a 10% discount on the 102s, for those who chose to swap over their deposits.

Im starting to get real ####in pissed here. I just want my money back.

Guys this stuff happens
It's buissness. People try tocbe the first to market . And some time they jump the gun.
It's no different then any other buissness.
Also when you forget all of that. Go look at what you contract says..

A agreement and hand shake sometimes will, but it don't meet ###
The things I learnt from being at one shot tactical and working for others in the gun buissness is this.
Money talks and nothing else .
And even if you have an agreement
If a big enough fish comes along. A brand will drop you faster then a hookes at a casino. Contact or no contract.
There arw great people in the gun biz and not so great just the other day a company told me if I did not sell one of our parts we designed and make to them for the price they want. They will just go to china and have it made.
Yes.
That's right one of the products i came up with, designed and made.
All that is happening here is you are seeing the dark side of the gun biz.

There are lots of positive cooperation between people in the gun biz. But I wear my armor on my back not my front now days ;)

Money does talk... there are lots of places where I can buy products... and I can choose to focus on businesses that I perceive to be reputable. I spend thousands a year on firearm related stuff.
