I can do cast, and will likely try it, opinions vary on compatability with micro groove rifling though!

They work fine as long as they are no less than .360" diameter. Most molds drop bullets very close to that.

Be sure to try them as cast without sizing.

I don't think they sell them as just projectiles anymore. If you find some let us know.

Well, if you consider how much better the 280 Rem is than the 270 Winchester (and that's only 7 thou of extra goodness) imagine how much better you could be by going up 8 thou!

Good results with the Woodleigh 310gr RN in my .358 Winchester at 2100 fps MV. Dropped this Moose with my .358 BLR using that bullet at around 1800 fps impact speed (1800 - 2200 fps recommended). Also load this bullet in my .350 Rem. Mag. at 2500 fps MV.

Used to load the 250gr X bullet (discontinued) in my 35 Whelen at 2400 fps MV with good results on game.

I use 200gr Hornady FTX (jacketed flex tip) and 231gr cast gas check from jethunter in my 35 Rem.

My local gunshop carries Hornady 200rn. I have a small stock of Hornady 250rn. 200 & 250 spirepoints are relatively easy to source on my experience.

I've gotten good accuracy with thr NOE 310gr Thumper @ 100 yards despite only having a 16" twist barrel. I havent shot them at game yet. Maybe next year.
