Question about beginner IPSC / IDPA gun

Jumping in here... NEWBIE question.. It might already been answered (apology...If)
is P226 9mm accepted by IPSC?

Thanks

For what it's worth. I'd bought a very nice M&p pro on the ee. Spent some time working with it, shot my first match with it and then sold it. Have bought a shadow and ordered a holster from solely for it. Super eager to get my hands on the gun now. Impatient I can be sometimes.

In the meantime I've been working on weak hand with my 22. Which is getting better, but has far to go. I'm looking forward to the weak hand dot not messing up my dot torture attempts But am happier to see that I can usually make it to the weak hand part clean before it goes pear shaped on me with the 22. Which is significantly better than how things were not that long ago. Also looking forward to shooting 9mm again. Lol

IDPA match coming up this Sunday ... and the weather is looking like it might just co-operate. Bring your longjohns and that Shadow . I’d love to check it out !

Edit : I was going by the CFGPA calaender but was just informed that the actual IDPA site is not showing the match .

IDPA is done at CFGPA for the year and will restart in 2018.

If anyone is in the Prince George area, will be heading out to the Blackwater range to try out the new hardware tomorrow morning.
