Anybody been in the Edmonton south store last few days? Family member going to town was thinking of getting some reloader 25...

I picked up lots of CCI 22lr on sale. Mostly at 20%-30% off, by the time it got to 40% it was slim pickings.

Last night in Langley they still had some deals at 40% off.

There was lots of stuff I was surprised was still there. Federal and AE 22lr gold medal and target, some 50cal, 6.5 Grendel,45 ACP, 10mm, .40 in HP, many options of lightweight 223, a lot of 270.
Remington 700 SPS in 308 for $480 (they still had 5)
A stainless 700 sendero in 7mm Rem Mag for $1020 I think it was.
870 youth for $299
A left hand 870 express for $299
Lots if savage rifles for $299 (I don't know savage so I have no idea what they were)
I don't know anything about reloading but there were lots of people getting stuff in that isle with 50% off.

Anyone gone to the West Kelowna WSS last couple of days?
I'm looking for SP, LP and SR primers - Win 231 powder, 45 Auto brass if the price is good.
It's a one way hour and a bit trip through the mess which is Kelowna and across the bridge, so good to know if I should just stay home.....

Hey Paul, as of 12/14/17 11:00, no 231 (or I would have bought it) lots of various primers and a few bags of win .45 brass.
Stuff is going fast though at 40-60% off.
Thanks for that - now to decide whether to head down there tomorrow morning. I imagine this weekend will be nuts.......

Picked up an RCBS 3 die .40S&W/10mm Auto Carbide TC set for $54 at the store here in Calgary.
Looks like people have been mixing and matching from the sealed containers though, or perhaps taking the 5 finger discount instead of the 50% discount. For example, they had two sets of RCBS .40S&W, one with a die missing and the one I brought home had the round nose seat insert missing. I was hoping to pick up the same kit in .38/.357 but that kit only had one die in it.
Still a good deal for me, but anyone looking for dies might want to keep an eye out for missing parts and definitely have a look at the stamps on the dies before purchasing to make sure everything is there and is correct, being final sale and all.
