Marihuana at Hunting Camp.

So you do have more details ?
How long was he under observation. Did he start to unload and put the weapon away only when confronted by the CO ?
C'mon Brad , just the facts. Tell us , in Brad Rules, how many minutes leeway should the CO's give??
And yes, he is a poaching piece of schit. And his supporters and like minded "hunters" just haven't been caught yet.

He parked his four wheeler alongside the camp road and went in the to hunt and sit watch for the night hunt about a kilometre and a half in.... not sure when the CO arrived but he saw the quad and knew (based on our camp and season), it belonged to a hunter.. so he sat in wait.....

While still legal light, buddy came down from his watch and unloaded his rifle and proceeded to walk back to the quad... he underestimated the time it would take to get back and was five minutes late..... and the CO was waiting for him.....

Pretty simple story.....

The guy had no intention of shooting anything after legal light and had his rifle unloaded and slung... he wasn’t poaching.... not by any means..... but he was guilty technically, I guess....

“Poaching piece of schit” eh?... you really are special..

And again, prove me wrong.

Tell us how the BC provincial IRP program works if it is not an instant roadside prohibition for driving under the influence/impaired driving that you do not get to dispute in court like a DUI before the penalty takes effect

My brother got an instant suspension when he had not smoked in days. Rcmp was called because me and some friends were smoking around his car while he wasn't even there.

Long story short, he failed their roadside sobriety test (who'd have thought standing on one leg not 10 feet away from semis going 100km/hr would be difficult?) and they impounded the vehicle and suspended his license. The cops left 6 teenagers standing on the side of hwy 1 in west van...

Best part is, with a drinking offense, you can fight it. If you get a suspension based on drug impairment there is zero discourse (except maybe a lawyer).

So you speed every time you feel like it, park in handicap spaces when you want to, generally disobey whatever rule you feel is unjust? What a cool rebel you must be....

Pretty ballsy statement and shot at another province from a guy too scared to share his location....

And there is the east West divide.

The East is glad to have the government tell them how to act, here in the West we tell our government how to act.

You folks should be telling your government to eliminate such a stupid rule, not debating if you should have a 5 minute grace period.

So let me get this straight, in ON you have to have your gun unloaded and cased before the end of legal shooting light or you can be charged with poaching? Otherwise your story makes no sense and I'm not even stoned....yet:)

Still a bunch of spouting and BS until you actually tell us where you live and hunt....

It’s not a stupid rule... I never said that.....

No..... you have to have your firearm encased after legal light when hunting while afield....and if you don’t, there is potential that you can be charged as such, but not with poaching...

Stop being obtuse..... weed isn’t legal now..... give your head a shake....

I simply pointed out how sticky CO’s can be about the rules.. buddy is still a member.... not sure what you are getting at here....

Sorry, too many questions at once. Was the unfortunate simpleton who was waylaid by 5 minutes by the malicious forces of evil a member of your camp? Be careful how you answer and maybe review your previous posts.

Wow. That’s some solid douchebaggery.

“Spare parts” was a generous assessment.

if the "drinking offense" is processed under the criminal code you can go to court and dispute it. If it is an IRP in bc then you do not get a chance to go to court if you wish to dispute the prohibition. An IRP can be issued for more than just "drinking"

If it ever does get legalized (to our benefit, not just the greasy liberal insider's), then most guys should start a patch, and make their hunting property pay for itself, haha!

Hunting camp ends up being a week extra- 1 week to hunt, the other to clip...

Although, I'm not sure there's ever been a law put on the books, that actually HELPS anything.

We'll see..
