Who the Hell is Black Box Customs?!

So he got a full refund for all the work and is still complaining? Wow...

Anyway blackbox did my glocktendo perfectly and I wouldn't hesitate to send them any of my firearms!

No no, he got a full refund, plus was offered to have it repaired at zero cost to him, and THEN offered a full replacement of the gun, AND STILL is somehow unhappy with it?

Why bad mouth them? #### happens in every industry, but no one I've ever heard of or experienced offered nearly what BBC did to satisfy you as their customer. If anything this just goes to show the serious integrity of black box, well done gentlemen.

This was just a warning that black box is not all peaches and cream people. And they will make it right but you'll really have to fight to get it. And I know they know who I am and I paid for the apex trigger they installed because it was not their product and did not want for them to be out of pocket for that. If you guys do get work done I hope you have a better out come. But for me I will not send it back. Not worth the trouble.

Though our previous correspondence 6 weeks ago, we truly believed that we came to a fair compromise. However, you're clearly still upset and we'd still like to make it right. As our last effort to turn this around, we're offering you the brand new replacement.

It's unfortunate that we weren't able to settle this privately. Once again, we apologize for your experience with us.

On a side note, we want to thank everyone else on here for their feedback. It does not fall on deaf ears, we will continue to learn from our shortcomings and improve our services, products and customer experience.

Black Box Customs Team

I had the full meal deal done to my G19 and had some upgrades that I supplied installed. The correspondence with Jay was excellent and they completed the project in the time they had said ( this was done during the sale on Cerakote they did last year) they even called to inform me that they wanted to redo the magwell as they weren't happy how it turned out and didn't charge for the slide serations as they had used the old program ( I can't tell the difference and am extremely happy with how it turned out) I also had an Apex trigger installed and Jay called to let me know he wanted to polish things up a bit as he wasn't satisfied with it ( again no charge)
I am extremely happy with all the work that was done. It was all done and more on time and less than the original quote. Great communication and great service.
I would not hesitate to use them and would highly recommend them ( I'm a huge OCD guy and couldn't find any faults in their work)

There is no such thing as a glocktendo..... Unless you have a pic I don't believe you.....no seriously.... If you have a duck hunt Glock I WANT TO SEE IT lol

How much are we looking at to cerakote a bcl and a vz58? Where can i see the camo pattern choices?
Thanks

We'll need a little bit more information before we'll be able to send over a quote. Please send a email to Sales@blackboxcustoms.com so we can get the ball rolling. If you'd like to see some of our previous projects. Head over to our website gallery (www.blackboxcustoms.com) which we've recently updated. If you don't see anything you like, send over some examples and we'll work from there.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

We appreciate the feedback and we know exactly which project you are referring to. To give everyone some context, we admit that this project took far longer than anticipated, it was a project that required us to write new programs and test these programs before cutting into the customers slide. Add that into the pile of work we got from the cerakote promo and this was the unfortunate result. We never rush projects, each project takes a long as it needs to be completed correctly, especially ones that require services outside the standard ones we offer.

With this project specifically, we recognized that the lead time wasn't reasonable. We first extended a 50% discount off all the services as a gesture of goodwill, which jackal820 accepted. We also installed, tuned and test fired the M&P Apex FSS Trigger Kit free of charge. Once he received the firearm back, he noticed a blemish on the slide right where the slide catch contacts the slide. He emailed us right away about the defect, we offered to recoat the slide free of charge and cover the shipping to/from. Instead, he demanded a full refund on all the work, which we did. After the full refund, we still insisted that he send the slide back for recoating, since we cover that under our warranty. We've also extended a 50% discount on his next project if he chooses to come back. If you're still unsatisfied with your M&P we will replace it with a brand new one. Outside of that, we don't know what else we can do to make this right.

We try our best to ensure that every single project goes out without any problems. However, we are human, sometimes there are things that slip through the cracks. This is why we stand behind our work and have a no B.S. warranty program. We've worked on over 2000 custom projects since we've opened our doors and like we said to Jackal820, we've only ever had 2 other project come back for recoating. Jackal820's experience with us, is not our standard and when these things come up, we do everything in our power to make it right.

Wow, wish all my "bad experiences" went this good! Great CS from Black Box!

Just to be perfectly clear - you got a bunch of custom work done, it took longer than expected, and you weren't happy with some of the cerakote. You get a full refund, you are offered a re-do on the slide to include shipping there and back, 50% off your next work, and after putting that all to bed, are offered a direct replacement for your pistol, free of charge, after bringing it back up a month and a half later in their dealer forum for no other reason than to sling mud? I'm surprised you found yourself back in their forum at all, considering you swore off their business forever six weeks ago.

You are probably the luckiest, least deserving customer these guys have ever had the misfortune of serving.

Well not to start a war but some of you guys must have ordered right off there menu and got a custom cookie cutter glock or something. I strayed from the menu and got some channels cut into my slide and knew it would take a bit longer. I was told a reasonable time line for the completion of the firearm and added a extra month To my own wait just in case. And my communications with the people where good. Then it started the time line kept getting pushed back. And trough my dealings with these guy they admitted to doing a few things to my firearm then putting it aside to pump out 4 or 5 of their easier protects. After meany emails and phone calls over the months and months hearing some excuse or another. And may I add, I did not want to pester them and spread all these communications out over the months. I finely had enough and called to just have it sent back to me, 5 months after they kept stringing me along. I think they knew the call was coming because, that's when they said oh it's going to paint today. Well I did get it back and when I opened up to inspect it the cerakote on the frame was chipped up. Like I said they did cut me a deal because of there poor services. And one of the people I talked to was a salesman of a reputable dealer in Canada who said "ya they did a poor job on cerakoteing my firearm and jerked me around, and it came back scratched up. It's sad that I'm not the only one who I have heard of who had a bad experience with them". My friends cerakote on his glock started to wear off very quickly as well, and it was not in heavy use. They will do their best to make it right and maybe we small few are the freak incidents, but Like I said I will not support this company again. And for you guy who do I hope you have a better experience than other and myself have had.
