what other legal option do you have but to turn it in if you do not hold a possession license for what they decide to reclassify the firearm to?
Remember, we have been given permission to possess certain firearms under certain guidelines for certain uses. We do not have property rights in canada.
S74 review hearing to put the matter in front of a provincial court judge for every single firearm that is reclassified.
No, but a class-action lawsuit on behalf of all Canadian gun owners for "financial loss" would go a long way.
Forget the class action lawsuit. It will take years and everyone will have unregistered prohibs that are safe queens in the mean time. Rather than 1 million people and 1 class action suit, we need one million people filing a s74 review hearing. The immediate back log would be a far more powerful play, basically like puttimg the whole justice system on strike.
A classic action suit the government can lawyer up and drag on for years. In mere days of judicial gridlock the government will have to choose between gun owners and suspected murderers and rapists. Canadians may not care about fun ownership, but they will care about a petty witch hunt that sees actual criminals go free.
If we can keep our stuff and all they did was restrict the amount of handguns you can buy a year then I will be hugely relieved.
Seriously? And what if the amount you are allowed to buy annually is set at zero?
Do you not care at all that your children will not be allowed to enjoy the freedoms that you enjoy? Are you that selfish that anything is acceptable as long YOU get to keep YOUR stuff?

yeah when i see it , i'm in
