kinda like when the news reports that the price of gas is going to jump by .20 cents in the morning and then you wake up to find it only went up 15 cents and everyone goes oh thank god not realizing they just been given the crappiest reach around ever. lol
Worst that is going to happen is you will get a new 12x class on your licence for ar15s ...... if you don't own one now you never will as of Tuesday is D day.......buy now or forever regret just like 12.6 handguns

It's been said before, but they won't hand out new 12.x licenses. All the recent prohibitions have been "You have 30 days to hand it in and be thankful we don't f*** you harder"
If they actually try and push this, we need to push HARD on activism. Right now the liberal party is about to fracture, many still remember what happened when they tried to ban handguns. Most of the Liberal MP's are in strong disagreement with trudeau, so it won't take much to push them into lashing out against him.
If he tries to whip the party to vote his way, it could even be feasible they'd call for an internal leadership election and push him into the office paper pusher job..... who knows, but right now we can't give in and let them do this.
Here's a funny little fact you can recite to your friends and family. In Canada, there's about 650,000 people registered to Hockey, including all the minor leagues, CHL etc...
There are over 2 MILLION registered firearms owners in Canada... Not to mention the friends and family we can rally. Shooting is one of the LARGEST sports in Canada, not some podunk little passtime.
I don't care wtf has been said before this is a NEW bill.....it's as simple as this.....they will be issuing a new 12x for ar15 owners just as they did when they made the 12.6 crap on licences......all you guys just think it's gonna be the same way as the last gun grab (you have already tapped out) .....I'll tell you it 2018 and were not gonna fold like what happened before....stop relating this to to what happened last time....for a we know nothing will change.....maybe just stricter background checks with is ok by me
Sorry man i don't think so........we don't got issues like the USA they don't issue a new 12x status for current AR shooters I'll be thown in jail....not to mention my 858s got 4 of them....there is no Fvcking problems ARs in this country and I will not be relinquishing my ARs to anyone.....I'm single......no kids.....no family left.....all I have are my guns.....you get my point?

Sadly I would agree that "most" Canadians will get it. Firearms owners only represent a small percentage of the population.
The balance (whom he is referring to as "most") have been brainwashed by the Liberal and Anti, left wing fear mongering propaganda machines. AKA politicians, anti orgs and media sources. Even the various policing agencies are doing their best to spread the propaganda.
Now this is the part that this guy can FRO about. Who is he to tell me that a certain type of firearm "isn't the sort of weapon you use to hunt deer or ducks". Weapon, lol.
The ar15 is just another firearm. A semi-automatic, civilian modern sporting rifle. It is perfectly capable of filling the role of a hunting rifle. It's wide range of caliber options as well as it's modularity and user friendly ergonomics make it a very viable choice. (sadly, due to arbitrary classification, we don't have the choice of using the ar15 for hunting)
But you can try and get it through a person like this' thick skull until you're blue in the face and he will never understand. Why? Because he too has been brainwashed by that same Liberal and Anti, left wing fear mongering propaganda machine.

If the ban hammer ever drops and ARs go prohib, just make sure to re-register it as a firearm and not a receiver only before coming into force, otherwise you will probably only be grandfathered for the receiver only.
