I own an m9a3 and im thinking bout trading it for a shadow 2.

Nothing wrong it except pricey.

Which one you think is superior?

And

What about shadow 2 muzzle options? Does such thing is possible? No i dont want a race gun just maybe custom shadow 2.

Stick with the Beretta. The frames don't crack and the gun doesn't weigh 48oz. empty. Unless you are going to shoot IPSC why bother trading it away for such a heavy gun. The Beretta gives away nothing in terms of reliability, accuracy or build quality.

Take Care

In the CZ shadow 2 defense, it's the most accurate pistol i have ever tried, or almost.
If it's a one off i don't know, someone at the local club loaned me it so i shoot a mag to see if sights we're off.
Shot 6 (4 others i double taped them so to speak to test tracking) shots all inside an ipsc patch at 9yds, i was amazed and had never did that before with a 9mm, only other time i achieved that was with an SV infinity

Now if that particular shadow 2 was one in a thousand i cannot say... but i was damn impressed.
Will i own one? No not my style, but i respect that gun very much now.

The S2 will be softer shooting, but they're both great guns. As far as I can tell the "frame cracking" of the S2's is greatly exaggerated.

The S2 is a little heavier pistol, true, but I've never felt that it was heavy when I'm shooting it and I'm no gorilla. Pretty scrawny guy if I were to look at myself in a mirror. So I kinda chuckle when someone puts weight as a determining factor to not getting one.

That said, if you're not competing and you can't afford to own both, stick to your Beretta. If you want one just "because" then just save up some more and own both.

Knock on wood, just over 3K rnds on my S2 frame and no cracking.

Im not competing yet. And weight is no problem.

I LOVE my desert eagle :)

I own too many pistols :

2x9mm glock17 gen 3 and m9a3
1x40 xdm
1x45 usp expert
1x357 coonan
1x44 desert eagle

M9a3 is good but i dont know why felt like i could trade
For another 9mm and make a dollar out of it.

About four thousand rounds through my S2 as well, frame going strong
Pretty crazy accurate. Shot my first IPSC match this weekend. It’s a good buy

I tried hard but just can't warm up to the Berettas. Kind of sounds like you are iffy on it as well or it would not be on the block. I would give the Shadow a try. I have not heard too many disappointment stories from folks who have picked up a Shadow 1 or 2. And from what i understand they rectified frame issues on the S2? You can also wait and get the model tapped for an optic.

Maybe the M9A3 has some tweaks that make it superior (sounds like a variation on the same theme though). You can always go back.

I have a 92A1 and love it...

Both are great guns, the CZ is probably a better "gaming" pistol tho.

Shadow or Shadow 2 is still the most prolific pistol in IPSC Production division. That should tell you something considering that Production has more shooters than any other division.

Just sold my Girsan Regard (Beretta 92F clone) and just got my shadow 2.

The difference is unreal - I am extremely happy so far with the Shadow 2! I have my first IPSC match with it on Wednesday so we will see how it goes!

I have a beretta 92A1 and have compared it directly against the Shadow 1 (different guns but similar). I like them both to be honest - both are accurate and reliable. Whatever floats your boat.

A cheap clone of a Beretta isn't a Beretta...
