Honestly, we need to ban together and let them hear our voices outside of Parliament Hill! This is ####ing bull####! One clear voice, ccfr and all these other organizations just isn't enough in Canada. Like what? Maybe 3 people from ccfr are supposed to voice our frustration in those meetings? Not a chance! That's not how anything is going to change. We need to make ####ing headlines here! So what? You live in Manitoba, then you take two days off, you fly down there and we show these dip ####s just how pissed we are and let them know "enough is enough" of this bullying law abiding gun owners! I live in Alberta and ill fly down there no problem if we can organize something. Look at the states, and in Canada.... KIDS are banning together to get rid of all guns... Ultimately... And what are we doing? Complaining and signing some online email #### that's not going to get read but deleted in masses by the libtards!
Watch, and remember this, if we don't do something more than what we are already doing, this will get implemented... Just watch.

I signed this a couple of days ago, but it needs more attention!
Also, as a last resort, I heard some ideas about jamming up the backdoor registry by making multiple transfers per day to your spouse/brother/friend and back to you -- if everyone does it, it would grind that to a halt.

You will lose. There is no incompetence, nor defiance. Copies of the registry had been handed out to outside agencies for years under access to information requests, and duly executed injunctions preserved copies of the data and changes to the law retroactively can't change the facts that once the data is created and distributed electronically, especially across a shared network with thousands of users, it is virtually impossible to destroy. The whole conservative witch hunt to destroy the data is just political theater.
There is possibly some argument to made in court about which VERSION of the data to rely on if the government were to try to make any meaningful use of it, but all of those different versions are at least 5 years old.
One thing to be learned here is that compliance with BS makes you subject to more BS.
I suggested a while back that WE should invent new crime, like Possess of Registry Information and Distribution of Registry Information.
