Robarms XCR FAQ post

I run corrosive through mine. Yes it’s an expensive rifle but with proper cleaning it fine. Boiling water, scrub it and a good oiling and it’s good to go.

I've run the Chinese corrosive through my XCR-L for over a year, no rust spots anywhere on it. Take it apart, flush with hot water, then clean like normal. All that is needed is to flush out the salt that causes the rust.

I have always installed my Gastube with the holes down.
I don't know, however, I am assuming the gas venting is less restricted moving down and bouncing off the barrel as opposed to bouncing directly off of the top of the receiver.
BTW I do notice I get little carbon circular deposits on the top of the barrel, and cleaning the top of the barrel is real easy to do.
See 11:10 in vid below.

Have a question about xcr-l 5.56 accuracy. I have the keymod version with light barrel and accuracy isn't the best. 2-3 moa even with hornady match ammo. I noticed after a few rounds, the groupings would expand. I was wondering if the Heavy barrel would give better accuracy consistently since it will handle the heat better ?? Anyone can help me with this? Dunno if it was asked before and sorry if it was.

Should i pick up a heavy barrel? And how much of weight difference would it be?

I get 1.5-2.5" groups at 100 yards with remington bulk ammo and 2MOA red dot. Im sure ill get better accuracy once I start handloading. I have heavy barrel 5.56.

Anyone else with light barrel have the same issue??

I have both barrels for my x39 XCR, I haven't noticed any measurable difference in accuracy. I can dump 100 rounds or methodically group 5, results look pretty much the same.
I will say though, the balance of the light barrel makes it a different rifle. My heavy barrel won't see much more action.
