That is like the gov asking why you need more than one firearm. Because I can is why, just like how you can ask for what you want in hopes that it comes from factory that way rather than having to go and build your own...... That is why arms east made this thread.......for customer input

Oh i don't play with those guys anymore. But seems to be a prevalent theme in the hunting crowd. I say run what you run.

And I was just curious. And fair enough. Let's see what we get.


On another note I got an email back from LMT.

"Sorry, due to our proprietary barrel system, our barrels will not work with the DPMS LR308 rifle."

Bartok 5 and Epoxy were correct in their assesment and LMT has verified.

I’m with Rebel Rouser. I’d like a lightweight 18.5” Faxon Gunner style barrel that I can mount a FSB.

Tons of heavy options out there. Light? Not so much.
 
FDE rifles would be great.

Hey ArmsEast, is your team going to be able to put forth some pricing for the .308s by close of business today, or did I mis-read an earlier post?
 
I'll most likely get one in 308 and keep my 102 as well....I think we will see more and more hunters switching to the AR style rifles.

Yes, the BC hunting regs being gutted is going to hold back a lot of hunters from buying new rifles though, unfortunately

You didnt misread. Sorry for the delay, still nailing down config for the 18.5" version. We expect an update after lunch tomorrow.

Im confused, but I didnt get much sleep.
Will you be selling the 308 barrel only?

I ask because I bought the lower/upper receiver set, of course I would need a barrel, so are you thinking of offering us the option of also just buying the barrel so that we can complete our sets?

Criterion barrels are great, Krieger builds Criterion barrels. I would go for a criterion 18.5 in a heartbeat.

We will be offering complete 308 rifles as well as barrels.
