Is the benelli m4 still "the" shotgun to get?

Do you ever have any issues with this, does it go boom every time?

7 shots rapid fire as fast as you can pull the trigger?

Will it work like this with even low end birdshot?

They're super reliable, I've unloaded 8 rounds of cheapest of the cheap bird shot as fast I could pull the trigger multiple times with zero issues

Why would nobody be running a Versamax ? It’s a well made shotgun that has been well received & plenty of people buy them from Remington / Gravel in Canada & whole host of accessories have been made for them.

The m2 is Miles bettre then the versamax, that's a fact.
Even a versamax built by tac ord is . Still no M2.
If it were not for the fact you can run 7rs in the versamax. Most 3 gunners in canada would run an M2.

I used to think so until I saw two of them break down in the span of 48 hours at a shotgun course...

I had one for a while and it was ok, but nothing crazy. I think I’m more of a pump gun guy anyway

What shotgun are you talking about that you seen 2 of them break down in 48 hours?

M2?
M4?
VERSAMAX?

So after having fondled them at the store, an m4 followed me home. It just felt amazing in my hands. The LOP was perfect, it points really nice, it felt much lighter then a versa max, it just felt right... I'll have to take her to the range to break her in next week. My wallet may be crying but my heart is in love!

Welcome to the club!

Beautiful purchase

I absolutely love mine, picked it up about a year ago. I run it with a Scalaworks low mount with a co witnessed Triji RMR 07.
Never had a single issue with a large variety of loads, Cycles scary fast if your work day requires that sort of thing :)

There is a nice mount made by Scalarworks that will co-witness a RMR with the existing sights...pretty slick unit.
