I don't have an extensive collection of AR mags, but total I've probably got around a 100 or so from the following 14 manufactures and their functioning in the WK-180 all appear to be good with the exception of two (old Thermolds and Radway Greens). All are 30 round bodies unless noted.
I should add that my WK didn't have any chambering issues and aside from some cheaper internal parts, didn't have any other QC issues.
Plastic:
Thermold - Original CF issue. They suck and I don't use them, but they are un-damaged aside from being pinned and work well for displaying the earlier C8 and C7 builds. They don't trip the bolt hold open on a charged mag, so I'd need to file the gap at the spine wider for the bolt hold open tab to drop down. I'm not modifying them to see if they work, 'cause I don't care.
Magpul - several generations, 1, 2 & 3 I think - they all work, feed and eject; a couple don't seem to drop as freely as others.
Hera - Came with the rifle. Work and function fine, drop free.
IMI - 10 or 20 round bodies, Work and function fine, one (out of the 4 I have) doesn't drop free.
ATRS pistol - 20 round bodies, Work and function fine. All drop free. (although I've shaved them down to drop free in an AR, and these were tight when new).
Metal STANAG* type mags:
*I'm going on the assumption that all metal mags follow the STANAG dimensional tolerances.
- RRA pistol (10 round bodies) (both new and old style) - function fine and drop free.
- C Products SS - Function fine and drop free.
- 50 Beowulf (CMMG?) metal in a 20 round body - function fine and drop free.
- Armalite metal 20 round body - function fine and drop free.
- Colt (20 and 30 round bodies) - function fine and drop free.
- NHMTG - function fine and drop free.
- D&H - function fine and drop free.
- Okay - function fine and drop free.
- Radway Green - drop free and function fine with the exception of the last round which the bolt overrides and won't strip. OK with me as these mags are a bit of an abortion like the Thermolds.
