The mother of all 45 ACP

I feel that my H&K Mark 23 will have it forgotten pretty soon.

Sorry, while I'm glad you like your new HK, I'm having a real hard time with that remark. I just can't imagine a polymer service pistol (no matter how well made or high end) being preferable to own over something like a Les Baer 1911.

To each their own I guess.......

In life we have to be optimistic , if it's a great accurate shooter, i will tell it, if it doesnt impress me i will sell it.:)

Yah your Les Baer shoots like crap! I'll help you out and take it off your hands. I'll even pay you 1/2 of what it's worth and the shipping.....

I was happy to read Colion Noir review, just sharing the wrap up of is review on the H&K Mark 23:)

In all, the MARK 23 has a place in my heart because it makes shooting feel so epic. You can put in work with this gun. I hate that people are so quick to turn the MARK 23 into a novelty item. Desert Eagles are novelties because they’re so much bigger than their functional use. While the MARK 23 is big, it is reliable, relatively easy to shoot, incredibly accurate, and way more ergonomic than the Desert Eagle and guns like it can ever wish to be. Say what you want about the size, weight and mass, the MARK 23 is no novelty. If you ask me, it’s an engineering marvel.

Always liked these, just as i like the Expert and Elite. I may check one out at one point. If they made one in 10mm, I'd buy it for sure. A long shot though given the benefit of the 45 in this is a big subsonic bullet for suppressor work.

I did order from a dealer 500 rounds of 45 ACP 185 gr HP@ 1225 fps with 616 pound of energy, we are in 10mm territory here.

Definitely. Certainly possible to get 45 ammo that is just as hot, it is just hard to find and expensive when you do.

Congrats on your purchase Caramel!
I know you will love your new HK Mark 23, it is a great pistol.

CZ 97B is my second favourite 45ACP, after HK Mark 23.
It is fine pistol as well, no doubt about that.
In my opinion, for those that enjoy CZ Shadow, this is roughly... an oversized version of it.

I am thinking of selling mine, whoever gets it will do well, it is unfired in the box.

P.S.

When I had life scare with serious illness, I actually went the other way and increased my gun purchases... fun while you can..

Kinda sounds like a sales man reading the brochure to me.

Apparently CZ97B was suppose to be real accurate. But I never seen that. Because couldn't grip them well.
