Stag 10 wont pivot open

At this point I just want my money back. I was told this rifle was test fired and looked over. I have already sent first rifle back and this is the crap they send me...unreal.

Well, now someone has the unfortunate pleasure of admitting that they are either full of s#!t, or completely incompetent.

What are we looking at in the picture, educate me?

The buffer tube extends too far into the receiver. If you look at my picture, the top of the buffer tube is flush with the receiver. His is not.

There's likely nothing wrong with the rifle. It's just the $25 buffer tube appears to be out of spec.

WOW! Talk about lightning striking twice. Looking at the new pic, it definitely looks like it's installed with one too many turns or is out of spec. Not a difficult fix if you have the tools but it should never have left the shop like that. Heck, they should definitely send replacement rifle with Express shipping with a return label for this rifle along with a bottle of Single Malt scotch for all the trouble and inconvenience and not to mention patience.

You can't install a buffer tube with "too many turns".

I agree. But its not fixable from what I can see...if I back off buffer tube a full turn like I would have to keep buffer tube straght it will no longer hold retainer

It's a simple fix - unscrew the buffer retainer nut, unscrew the buffer tube a few turns, tighten buffer retainer nut. I agree, however, the rifle never should have never been assembled like that in the first place much less left the shop after it was apparently looked at and test fired.

If I do that buffer tube will no longer hold in retainer. There is a notch on buffer tube retainer will no longer sit in unless I do a full rotation which will be to far
