Spyderchop if you want to see how these rifles shoot while you're waiting for yours to get back, PM me and I'll take you out to the Chilliwack or Agassiz range. This rifle will not disappoint you. I have a couple of the Stag 10's and mine have been flawless so far (700 rds).
I plink out to 200yd with hirtenberger and norinco both are under 150 gr. The steel case norinco shoots high compared to the Hirt but I get better groups with the norinco. FYI I'm an early morning shooter cause its cooler, quieter and more trigger time![]()
There's only 1 fix. Send it back. That's inexcusable for a factory built rifle and never should have made it off the assembly line.
BooSSted, you are right that is inexcusable. How can the factory let this #### out the door. I have a rifle coming from Arms East, and frankly I'm worried I'm going to get a lemon. I shouldn't be having any concerns considering what I paid for this rifle. All I can say is, this rifle better work properly or someone is going to get an ear full.

This is how my stag 10 looks like.

Are you asking or tellingThat's how it should look
That's fine because the buffer can be pushed back and still be able to close the upper. The original problem was the buffer tube was in too far and preventing the upper from closing.
