M40 Family - Who owns one?

So my Remington with it's MST-100 has started to pay back my investment. Last weekend someone bet me $50 that I couldn't hit the Joker on a playing card at 200 yards (fairly easy). Well I will admit that trying to see a joker on a playing card at that distance with a straight 10x scope isn't the easiest. But I hit it, just :p

Even made a video of it!

My stock is ordered now through ATRS, pretty quick service. Looked for a used one but no luck so had to do it to keep this project rolling.

Not a true M40A1 as I opted to have the grip panels added but its not an accurate copy anyway.

Looking forward to seeing this (rifle). On another note, have you seen what original return stocks are selling for lately? WOW!

Before I bought my current rifle there was an M40A1 clone in a return stock with the certificate on this forums for $2900 (no scope). I tried getting the cash together but couldn't in time. I still regret it. Luckily mt current rifle arrived and I am happy with the way it's shooting.

Missed the boat on that one. Smear with bottom metal were going for $500 cdn, why oh why I didn’t buy one or two when I had the chancef:P:2:

Now those return stocks are going for $2000-2800 USD or more on Ebay, it's crazy for just a stock!

Got a positive responce from USO concerning the MST-100

In the past when asked about doing another run of MST-100, USO's responce was the usual, ''never again, please f*** off''.:jerkit:V:I:

When I asked last week, someone from USO responded, ''please call us back in july/august'' ;):dancingbanana::runaway:

This thread is really making me want my rifle done. And making me wish we were getting better weather right now. I would like to have one like the earlier rifles, but I need to focus on one thing at a time.

I heaer that on the weather, hit -30 here today with 30km/h winds. I'm dumb but not THAT dumb

Here's a video of me shooting a golf ball with mine at 200 yards (all the range goes out to sadly). Kind of boring on what it did to the golf ball.

Not a clone but is based on original with a trued Rem 700SA, Krieger 12T with M852 Match chamber. Stock has spar varnish and Danish teak oil, butt plate is as original as are sling swivels.
