Are you using an AR15 carbine buffer with your UBR by chance? If so it will short stroke and you will have feeding problems. You need the shorter AR10 carbine buffer.
The short period I had my stag 10 It ran 100% without a muzzle device... soon as i added a brake.... cycled super weak, failed to lock open ect. removed device and it ran awesome, even in -30 weather.
Thanks for everyone's help. Took it out tonight after block adjusted and tightened down and it ran perfect and not o ly that but it shoot federal gm168's under an inch. So very happy now.
Can you throw out a link? While running my 6.5cm upper all is well, switch to the 308 with a lantac and ftf/ss all day.
Interesting... I've never chronoed the 7.62, but given the way it runs like a champ in my 1919, i assumed it was higher powered. I bought this gun as a plinker, so hoping this ammo will work.
No wear on lugs at all. Very smooth operation - it's all well lubed and moving well. I'm using the stock buffer/spring in a UBR stock.
Having feeding issues with my factory stag 10 22" 6.5cm. Thinking of getting a superlative .936 adjustable gas block. Good idea?
With S&B ammo it wont strip a new round, but firing pin does reset, bolt wont hold open last round neither.
Magpul. Cycles fine with hornaday ammo. Adj gas block ordered
factory build Ill check to see if its an alignment issue. Thx
