Ok, so had too much time and spare bolts and pieces, and a dremel... added a little thing to my SVT (well the mag).

Before anyone goes "nooooooo!", nothing was modified on the rifle/mag. I added the bottom plate to protect the mag while I shoot :)

You sir, have great taste. Have you owned an SVT40 that was super accurate yet? I heard that there are some out there capable of 1.5 inch groups. The one I owned did about 2.5-3 inches, which I thought was incredible.

I thought I might share this interesting SVT kit I found since I've never seen a picture of another one in this configuration. There area few similar kits pictured on google images but they are made of a different material. I don't know much about these kits but I was happy to get it if only for the gas and stock tools.
Is it my macabre imagination or is that a blood stain in the second picture? :Slavex:

I did some accurizing to my SVT40 and it shoots 1.5” at 100. I sanded the barrel channel out of the stock and put some cork up where the clamp goes as they do with Mosins. Mine was already fairly tight in the stock so no shimming was needed. The trigger was pretty good on mine too. It has a long pull but it’s smooth and not too heavy.

my 1940 tula wearing an AVT stock.
bought from a fantastic cgner in the spring. The serial number is my year of
birth which is pretty cool. Once I got the gas system adjusted she works like a dream.

Does anyone have any information on a Bulgarian refurbished svt40 ? I have one and can’t find much information on them , I haven’t taken pictures yet but every number matches (not electropencil) stamped even the stock matches, serial number re stamped vertically on buttstock and handguard has serial number stamped on underside, magazine has Bulgarian proof stamps, any info and perhaps a value would be appreciated thanks.

I know, but It's Dilligaf we're talking about... He might have thrown enough money to get an actual one ;)

I did the opposite, I found the mount on EE for 50$...lol... and the scope on ebay for 125$.... hahahahahah and that bayonet is one of the fake 80$ ones that some sellers are trying to pawn off as " Parade " that I refinished.

i must have a couple of crates of ammo thru that scope and its still holding zero.

The only real part is the original leather scope caps...
