Sweet!!! A SVT that i give up trying to get... Also, its crazy how rare are the original scope mount,even if 50 000+ SVt were used as sniper variants.

They were. Soldiers were "losing" them a lot. More so with Mosins. That's why they switched to folding bayonets on SKS and M44, so you can't "lose" it.

To me it appears as is from refurb. Hard to say for certain as I'm second owner since import but I can still smell the cosmoline
