So I'm about to buy my first acres of land. It's in a prime hunting location and intend to build a 20x20 cabin.
Anyone here build a cabin on their own? |What was your experience...
Also, I'm looking for some free plans if you guys have to give away.
It’s a square with a triangle on top
I’m a carpenter so I’ve built a lot of stuff. Go to chapters you will probably find some good books on layout and framing there. Small local lumberyard will probably have good advice Home Depot not so much. Never shop somewhere you have to put your lumber on a shopping cart. Someone with some experience to help you get the foundation and floor square will hel get you on the right track as well.
Belleville and cabin is just south of Picton.
They deliver anywhere basically for $250

thanks, price?
You need a permit for that?
No permit required because it's a "movable" building .... not that I will ever move it, apparently only permanent buildings require a permit.
What is the cabin sitting on? Did they deliver on a flatbed or in pieces and build it on your lot?
