Night setup rifles

My bad, I guess it's Provincial (Alberta) legislation... And although it's only found in the hunting regulations, it's still illegal to discharge a firearm more than 30 minutes after sunset here in Alberta...

Indoor ranges close after sunset?

Shootingg half hour after sunset depends on whether you are an indigenous person, so it depends on your race I suppose.

Nothing in the Firearms Act about shooting at night.

Sorry to derail the thread.

Better post up the law on that. If it's only in the hunting regs then its only for hunting season.

I do lovvvve night vision threads!

My binos have been in for a while, and man are they fun to run with! The Modern Varmint is for light plinking, the Stag is for when the paper will not stay ded!

We hold a couple of Lights & Lasers matches a season.
Rifle with light at 100m and closer.
Various pistol matches with handheld light, pistol mounted light, pistol mounted laser.
My AR barrel has a railed gas block; mount a Streamlight there. No problem at all using the scope at 100m.

Maybe you should buy a clip-on PVS-30 then, I know somewhere we could shoot long range at night ;)

My night time rig is much more mundane....But also very pragmatic. :)

The Surefre light turns the night into day when I hear something go bump outside at night. The 870 DM is fast to load and with different loads in different mags, offers the option of slugs, buckshot or smaller shot.

Not that I'm opposed to Night Vision fun shooting, of course. ;)

Oh, this is exactly why I was thinking of getting a 870dm
