I probably would have hung up on the person, but that's why I don't do any sort of customer service related work.

I hear ya. I work in customer service(sales at that). And wow do we get yelled at sometimes. Often because they didn’t order correct or heard things the way they wanted to hear it. Often no where close to reality. Then I get to calmly explain they’re wrong. But I try to provide a solution to the situation.

In my case I can’t hang up on them because almost everyone is a repeat business type customer.
 
Thank you, everyone at ATRS, for enduring the misguided whining of some self-entitled crybabies, and ensuring that your excellence of quality is maintained in the home stretch!

I am happy to wait a little longer, if I wanted something rushed, I would never have signed on for this project!
 
So sorry to hear this persists. I dropped by the shop today to drop off my parts for assembly and I did feel sort of bad for doing so because I haven't been called yet, though I know I am in the run just being finished. I asked if this was going to be a PIA or cause any consternation and that it would be perfectly acceptable to say "please go away until we call you, then bring your parts in". I had all my parts itemized for "check in", which seemed to be appreciated. We did a quick once over to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything, and off I went. ATRS, you are all amazing, thank you for what you do and I am so happy and fortunate that I can own you stuff.


So its Monday morning. Snow storm overnight here made for a long and trying commute for most of us here.
Nothing makes a Monday more wonderful than picking up the first phone call of the week to have someone rip your face off about why he doesn't have his late in the run production run #2 receiver set. He then continues to rant about how poor our service is because we would not go through over 1000 invoices to find his specific order to find the date of order so we could provide a precise date of completion.
We all wish to sincerely thank this individual for wasting 35 minutes of our time that we could have been using to QC the lowers made over the weekend.

We DO wish to sincerely thank everyone who is exercising their patience to allow us to get as many sets made as possible and out the door without being abusive to ATRS staff.

I guess the real gem out of that is that he doesn’t even know when his own flipping order was placed?

It’s sad how much of the world is adult daycare.
 
Do I want it now? Sure. Will complaining help, nope. I know the boys are doing their best and Ill get mine when it's ready and not a second before. End of story. I don't worry about stuff I can't control.

Anyone received their second run lower and slick side upper before me? I put down the deposit Nov 16, 2018. Did I read somewhere they ARE delivering in order of serial #? Im low 300's after I paid in full Apr 15
 
Delivered in order of initial purchase (not paid in full status), more or less. Some will be out of order due to rejected QC requiring putting the serial number back into queue on a new blank.

Serial# won’t reflect ship order.

Delivered in order of initial purchase (not paid in full status), more or less. Some will be out of order due to rejected QC requiring putting the serial number back into queue on a new blank.

This is the best answer. However most of the run 2 lowers should be complete soonish as machining on run 3 is estimated to start next month. Note that this doesn’t mean deliveries will be complete as after machining is bead blasting. QC check. Anodizing. QC again. And somewhere in this they also have to insert the rear pins as well as test fit with your upper for fitment checks. Then packaging and shipment notice/payment collection ect.

Overall it could be end of the year by all of run 2 ships. But I could be optimistic with that.
 
The FA upper sets with second run lowers are shipping before my SS upper that I ordered NOVEMBER 16! Thats not following the timeline. Mind you I was at the end of the SS order, but was told via email and then confirmed on this forum, they will keep the tooling for SS and finish the extras for ALL second run lowers, then start the FA. I was going to just order FA to get it sooner, and not wait for second SS run. How are guys getting the FA's second run lowers before me that deposited way after me?

Went on FB and Shaun posted this yesterday "All forms of order have gone out the window things are all mixed up and all we could do was apologize, but it's going to be a scatter of numbers both chronologically and sequentially"

I thought I heard ALL uppers for 2nd run lower orders are complete. Regardless of SS or FA.

If yours is feeling delayed then I would guess your lower was one of the unlucky ones chewed in the EDM machine and had to be reproduced on a new blank. But that’s just speculation.
