It’s easy to say it looks bulky from a picture. In person it is much more sleek. It’s not a heavy rifle. It does have some junk in the trunk with the stock adapter being a big chunk of metal.

Man I hope these are around next week when I’m back home. It seems like the perceived money I spend having a gun shipped is much higher to my better half than when I pick one up in person...
 
When did they switch from 223 Wylde to this? Is there anything else they changed that someone who bought one a year ago (me) should be aware of???

Pretty sure they switched to 556 in like the second production run. they've since changed the BCG design as well from magnetic to a screw in charging handle as many people were seeing the inside of their receivers being chewed up by the magnetic one flopping around and digging in to the soft aluminum. That's all that comes to mind off the top of my head.
