Another reason is more practical. If you don’t have a .375 what exactly are you supposed to do if someone asks to see your .375? From what I can read the .375 Ruger advantages are only theoretical and marketing..and that is how guns are sold..pay off the media to rave about the new wonder cartridge
4% greater water capacity for the .375 Ruger and 50-100 fps faster..minimal on both counts
 
Reasons ... I don't try rationalizing, I just do. Unfortunately I can't get everything I want because hoplophobes somehow obtained the ability to employ agents to use force to prevent me so that class aside:

#1. I want to buy it: since I'm not hurting anyone with it why am I obliged to explain or be deprived? screw you.
#2. Why not?
#2.5. Why do you want to assault my delicate visual senses with your trinket or hideous Nissan Box?
#2.75. It's a gun of fine, delicate lines so arrayed in a beautiful package. What does your garden gnome do since it clearly has no redeeming features visually?
#3. Because some moron somewhere thinks I shouldn't, so I'm going to while I can and to counter their folly and sanctimonious attempt to lord over me.
#4. It is a practical thing to have that doesn't depreciate like the rocks we call money.
#5. Because it's practical, it has a use: that use might not be seen tomorrow, but whenever that is, is my business.
#6. If it saves one life, it's all worth it.

If one really feels they need more than .375 skip right past the Ruger for the .378 Weatherby.

I think its safe to say that for entirely altruistic reasons I have guided some to the path of true happiness and harmonious marriages ;) To further build on the idea; it’s well known that divorce is practically unheard of in households equipped with a three seven five, .404, .416 and proper .458 along with abundant opportunities to put them to good use. :)

Huh, yeah... well, that inverse logic has never resulted in "peace and harmony" around here... do you think you could call and explain the theory to HER???
